Got a very enthusiast wave from another TJ, same color and top. Almost missed him because I was messing with the radio!

No. The blinking one's are hooked to the turn signals. If I'm not turning, they don't blink at all. They burn steady, like the stock lights.

it resolved the clunking.. And a tinyyyy bit of the vibrations on road.. But I still have a pretty heavy vibe when I get above 50. thinking an alignment may help but I have no clue lol.

Just thought I would toss my 2 cents in.

Been driving Jeeps for about 20 years, with the exception of the last 4. Got excited about the wave was I got back in the saddle and in the past month, I have had one JK wave back and one TJ wave back with a total count of about 100 total I wave to. A bit disappointing.

Could it be that with the new jeeps comes new Jeep drivers that have no idea of the Jeep Wave? Perhaps we should call Jeep and have them make it mandatory that the Salespersons educate the newbies in the art of Jeep Waving!

the sales guys at my dealership all know what's up. They tell new jeep owners about the wave and lifestyle. So most of them comin outta there get it. I agree. It should be mandatory. Or in the manual.

It's not really the "Jeep wave" where I live, it's pretty much just the "Wrangler wave" I've only ever had one cherokee wave at me, but it was a really nice trail modified one. Prolly 80% of the Cj's, Wranglers, and Tj's wave back at me when I wave... But none of the 4 dr versions ever wave back, and the new Jk's never wave back either... So to me it's just the "Wrangler wave" I also wave at modified Samuria's, old school Toyota Land cruisers, 77 or older broncos, and anything else that resembles the same spirit. I don't really consider most Cherokees, Grand Cherokees, Liberties, Nitros, and that sort of vehicles as being in the same spirit as the original "Jeep"

Just my oppinion, but the new Jeeps are marketing on the past image and perception of the original, but not holding true to the ideas that the original was created for... they're to big, and to flashy to really be used the way they used to be.

Some people believe the 86 was the last "Real Jeep" but I believe that 2006 was the year that Jeep really lost it's focus...
