Un-official, Non-Scientific, Wave Count?

All this talk about "The Wave" had me thinking about keeping a running tally. I like The Wave, but I'm starting to think it's pointless. Today, passed 7 Wranglers, all different models, and didn't get a single wave returned! This morning I passed a Brute, the first I've ever seen, and I *think* he waved back, but it was really dark still.

So:

0-7

If anyone else is so inclined, just add on to my count and let's see if we can un-officially, non-scientifically, track the popularity of "The Wave".

Today I was 5/5. Two TJs, one LJ, one JK, and one JKU! Normally the JKUs don't wave back in my area so I was pleasantly surprised.

I get waves back probably 80% even alot of JKUs wave back.

but I have only been waved at first 1 time.
I try to wait for a wave but i never get one till i wave first.

Let's keep a running tally.

Invert Chaos 5/5 =

5/12 when added to mine.

I got the idea from my homebrew forum where we keep a running tally of total gallons brewed every year.

Edit = 8/16

(You snuck in there Blegan!)

edit: i say regardless of whether the post added to the count, the poster should include the present total at the bottom

For 6 months - nothing. Last weekend I saw two that actually waved. Since then? Nothing.

Its certainly nothing like being on a bike...didn't take long to figure out all those waves were at me!

For me, atleast five a week. It's funny, I'll throw my whole hand up at other TJs, but only a few fingers ( no, not two middles!) at YJs and JKs. I've learned the ones in my area that wave for real and I give them the full wave no matter what model, even a few built XJs and ZJs. You have to admit, makes you smile!

I get good response from TJs,YJs and CJs. So far shut out by JKs. I know its because its a new class of yuppies buying JKs in my area. I'll keep a total and post tomorrow.

Up here at 11,000 ft, EVERYBODY has a Jeep. My arm would never stop. I usually only wave to modifieds.

It's funny because here in Houston I notice that YJs or TJs will wave but JKs hardly ever do. I will start keeping a tally though.
