Hi All

New to these forums. Was searching the Internet for some info and came across this site. I figured the best people to ask questions to are you guys so here goes....

I have a pretty new jeep. 2015 wrangler unlimited. Purchased January. Already has over 5000 miles on it. This is my mommy car. I'm a mom of 2 boys and gave up the horrible Acadia for my jeep (best choice I ever made). I tell you this so you can understand just how much I drive my car.

I really want to upgrade the tires. I did a little research and if I read right if I go bigger than 33" wheels I need to upgrade the suspension? My question is... For the type of driving I do, what is the best option for me? Sadly, I don't think I'm going to do much off roading although I would love to. The upgrade is purely cosmetic because frankly the bigger tires look bad ass. I also read that I have to upgrade the speedometer. Is that true?

Also with these new wheels I want to get black matte rims. Are there specific brands of wheels and rims you all recommend? Please forgive my ignorance. I'm new to this jeep stuff and don't trust the dealer to give me honest answers.

I also want to see what other upgrades I can do to this car. I heard about a gas cap cover? Worth it or does it take away from the rugged look?

I would have preferred the teck soft top to the one the dealer got for me. What is the feed back on that?

i am totally open to hearing about all your upgrades for ideas so don't be shy. Let me know what you got but keep in mind this is a mommy car. As much as I'd love to go nuts I don't want to embarrass my kids ;)

Thanks!!

I would suggest posting this in the JK General category and you will probably get more response. And as far as embarrassing your kids, take it from me as a dad, it goes with the territory to embarrass your kids! Don't worry about it.
