Vibration Damper on Transfer Case

Hey guys, first time caller - long time listener. I am doing a clutch on a Wrangler and the vibration damper on the transfer case came off. Any ideas on how to get it on?

need more details than just that. whats transfer case. i only one i know of is the one on the 241 on the rubicon, if that's the case just put it back on, just smack it with your hand to engage the splines and throw the bolt back in it. pretty straight forward.

License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior intelligence and superior firepower. And that's all she wrote.

Yes I should've been more specific when we were removing the transmission to replace the clutch the balancer or damper on the end of the transfer case came off and it's not where it's pressed on. I have one piece that's on the transfer case, the outer ring, and the center rubber trying to push them back together is almost impossible at least with your fingers
