Vinyl or Cloth seats?

I have a 92 Wrangler, live in Michigan and am thinking of replacing my original seats. Quadratec sells some nice vinyl and cloth seats but am not sure which route I should go. I know the vinyl is a bit cheaper but if the seats get wet, the vinyl wouldn't hold water like the cloth. Or would they? Any thoughts on this? I keep a bikini top on all spring/summer and fall so there is a great potential of them getting wet, LOL. Thanks!

go with the cloth, they dry pretty quick, don't burn your posterior and last a lot longer. The vinyl will eventually crack, expecially up north in the cold. Theres nothing like jumping on a hot seat with razor sharp slits in it. ow of course it's up to you.

i have the rugged ridge vinyl seats in my cj. the vinyl feels like the fibers were woven rather than feeling like you are sitting on a plastic seat cover. it like the vinyl better b/c i don't have to worry about them getting wet or muddy.

I want to swap out the old-school vinyl seats in my CJ -- I'm sticking already, and can't wait for August. Or maybe get those beads like taxi drivers use.
