went exploring yesterday

Took the kids out to power lake to play in the water and then climb a mountain.

We hit a couple dead ends and had to back track.

I went up this hill to see if there was anything on the other side but it was just another dead end, as I was turning around our daughter decided she wanted to get some pictures so I figured I'd strike a pose, there was a stump that looked perfect for propping a tire on. Went up fine but as soon as I hit the brakes the back end jumped up and said "hi how ya doing" I thought sure we were going over

We had a couple fairly steep sections

and some tight sections

We got up as far as the Jeeps could get and then hiked the rest of the way to the top.

We like to go out and explore old fire roads, logging roads and game trails to find new places to camp and play, Not as exciting as the wheeling some of you guys do but it's what we enjoy.

More pics here if you're interested.

Do you ever give Amy a shove if she's not driving fast enough???

Looks like fun, Skeet. And you found kids in the river, were they keepers??

Nope, actually she was trying to get me to go faster her rig kept popping out of low range for some reason.

Yes, the kids are keepers, they're our spotters, when the girl starts screaming we know it's getting a little hairy, when the boy shuts up we're in trouble.

Aaron rides with me and Jessie rides with Amy.

Thumbs up

Great picks!!!
I agree, there is nothing like playing in the woods with fresh air and killer scenery all over the place. Tough job but it looks like you do it well.

I think that's what your Jeep is for........doing the stuff you want to do and not what someone else thinks is cool!

And keep taking and posting those pictures!

Hey Skeeter, that might not be Arizona 'crawling, but thats still wheeling!! In fact, thats my favorite kind of wheeling. Mountain/forest trails seem to have more of a purpose than driving through an avalanche, or jumping into a mud hole in the middle of a dirt field Glade you had fun

Trail riding and exploring is the more exciting to me anyway.

That's wheelin alright Skeet. You all have some great country up there and I'd love to romp my rig thru it a little. It doesn't always have to be rocks to be wheelin.

Good time had by all, everyone made it home okay, and there are some killer pictures of great country. Couldn't really ask for a better day in my opinion.

Great pictures and man that looks like an awesome time....cute kids I swear you can see Big Foot's tracks on the trail in the 7th picture.

Any good bio-tech companies out that way? I think it might be a good time for a change.
