Yesterday I started my Ford 8.8 swap installation. I built the axle up over the last week and welded on all the brackets. So far I have the old axle out and the new one ready to bolt in

Here is a set of some pictures I took along the way.

Today i attached my license plate onto my front bumper, rewired my CB into my glove compartment through the back of the dash, installed my tail light guards, washed the outside and vacuumed out the inside. A good day, she is lookin pretty hot.

did u paint the inside of the top too? If i ever take my top off, i would do it. Perhaps with some heavier stuff to help lower noise and heat transfer..

No. I left the inside white. It is brighter inside at night with the inside white.

why do u need bright inside? I feel like puking every time i see my white top.. if you want lights, add some lights on there, thats all..

Carpet on the top would also be a nice idea.

I have lights. I like it white inside. White reflects light better and there is nothing I hate more than trying to find something in the dark and can't see crap because there isn't enough light.

I got the top and doors on now. It gets dark here real early so I couldn't get daylight pics. I should get off work early tomorrow so I should be able to get some good pics then.

Ya, it turned out pretty good for a rattle can. Now I just gotta find someone around here that can paint match and stick it into a spray can so I can get the doors yellow.
