Default Did a little cleaning and playing with rust.

My dad and I cleaned up the inside a bit: neutralized and cut out some of the rust spots and spraypainted the inside.
Before.

After.

Installed a 1.25" body lift to the YJ to get the flares off the tires... God I hate body lifts!

I did the Penetrol trick to my stock/faded fender fares. It worked OK I guess, have to see how long it lasts.
Also replaced the stock muffler with a Flowmaster 40...........Nice!

Finished changing the pitman arm, fixed the taillight and KC's, took out the backseat, opened up my winch control box and discovered it has to be totaly rewired. Took it to the shop for inspection and realignment today. Hope it passes!

It is not so much what I did, but what I found. My Dad's friend who I met tonight while working on my Dad's car, is an ex owner of a speed shop, that was once in business near my house.
I now have someone who can help with all my future mods on my Jeep, he has all the tools to regear, pipe benders for exhaust mods, and he even told me when I am ready to pick out the lift and he would help with that.
So it is a win win, I get to learn while helping and it will not cost me a fortune, he eventually wants to build an old army Jeep. So he is more than eager to work on my Jeep, I guess my Jeep will be his guinea pig.
