Cool, thanks for the info. I suspect we'll be seeing many more of those on the trails very soon.

the ones that came out where lifted on 33's with sliders

Well they're still pretty new. I'm sure there isn't a whole lot of aftermarket support for them yet.

There is plenty of aftermarket for them, you just have to search.

Meaning that there is a lot of stuff out there for them. Most of it just isn't as mainstream as say, parts for Jeep. I'm sure if you look at a Toyota forum you'll find a lot more support than what you think.

I've looked.
As compared to the aftermarket support for most other manufacturers there is still very little available. Especially when you're looking for suspensions, skid plates and drive train components.

I hear the FJs performs so great off-road. Many say they are better than Wranglers (TJs in particular). What makes them better?

23,000 for an fj or 18,000 for a TJ plus it cost me 1100.00 for my lift and tires. Oh and I can take my top off.

FJs are actually pretty nice. "Better" is open for interpretitation, but they are refering to ride comfort, the longer/wider stance giving it a traction advantage, and the electonic 4x4 center locking diff system (Wait, did they take that fromt he 4runner and put it in the FJ, or is the FJ a non-electronic 4x4?)
Ill Keep my Rubi Toyotas are nice though, we own a Solara, and I wouldn't mind having the older (small) Tacoma 4x4s with the 31" tire package for my GF.

Ya I bet a toyota can't flex as much because it has ifs in the front and a solid axle in the rear.

got it all inspected, 2 year tags, and insurance yesterday. drove on the road for a LONG time last night! oh and over the weekend, while i was at work, my dad installed my new exhuast manifold (the old one had a big crack in it that we needed to fix to pass inspection). so she's runnin like a champ right now.
once the sound pods come in, ill be putting my new speakers in those, and installing those, then the front dash speakers, and drilling the holes needed to run cable under the car for the amp and stuff, but not installing because i want to get it rhino lined, so i'd have to take it out anyway...
