my best friend just got a 1988 toyota pickup 4X4, and, when he got it he told me he wasnt going to mod it or taking it wheeling like i do with my jeep......well, its now covered with mud and hes shopping for larger tires and wheels and a roll bar and a new brush guard, and all that stuff..lol..he got it stuck for the first time last weekend...we had to dig his front tow hook out..lol...its funny how the bug hits you even when you dont want it too..lol..he made me so proud..lol
i know thats kinda off the subject, bc my buddy didnt say his is better then mine, infact, hes admitted a number of times that mine is better, also too, that i have a lot more experience then he does
he told a friend of his about me pulling him out the other day, and his friend has a 98 yota, lifted about 8 inches with 35s, and he told my friend that once he does that to his 88, he'll be pulling me out.....and my friend actually said, "ha, i doubt ill even be the one pulling him out then"

The only time I have seen this brotherhood cross borders, is when I was in Moab during Cruiser week, which was two weeks after the main event. There was only one other Jeep in our camp. It seemed that the common joy of wheeling gave us all equal status, just by being there. Here is what I mean;
