Hello all. I'm a new jeep owner (2010 black Rubicon, soft top, manual shift, 2 door) who is having a blast running around topless. I can't what to take the doors off but wanted to get some opinions on 2 things:

1. What are the pros and cons of tube doors versus no doors
2. What do you think of RANCHO® RockGEAR(TM) Front Tubular Off-Road Doors http://www.quadratec.com/products/11146_500.htm

I don't expect to climb rocks or anything too extreme. But I have a few favorite trout streams and hiking trail heads that are only accessible via unimproved (totally legal) dirt roads.

I read that you like pictures. This one is of my equally Jeep-crazed wife and my Rubi.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Thanks. The came stock with the Rubi but I want to trade them for 33 inch tires to get the extra clearance and width. Does anyone know what is the minimum lift I need?

Try searching some of the older threads on here. You'll find a lot of info on that kind of thing. People are always checking in to see what can be done with wheels, tires, lifts..etc.

I would love to have that wheel and tire set. Just saying

What would one be willing to pay for a set of 5 wheels and tires with about 1000 miles on them? I'm thinking of going black wheels and black tires. BTW - I live 30 miles north of Atlanta.

I hate to kill your hope here but I just bought a brand new set of 5 Goodyear Duratrac tires for my JK a month ago but now I like those rims and tires better..sigh.

Can't pay anything. Interested in trading set for set?

Do you have any pictures? If we worked out a deal I'll want to get the lift first. I'm in Cumming Ga.

The pictures are in his sig at the bottom of his posts. I love my DuraTracs I just got a few weeks ago. They're the best AT tire I've ever run. Much quieter than the BFG AT TKOs. I don't think they spit out the mud as easily as the BGF MTs but for my DD, I'll stick with the DuraTracs.

Thanks for pointing that out. I primarily use the iPad app for the forum, but it seems to strip out everyones sig. When I go online I see it.
