what do you think about this rollbar

i'm kinda wanting a rollbar a little better than the stock one. something with bars at the front instead of tieing into the windshield. i dont have a tubing bender, so doing it myself isnt really an option. what do you think about this?

the guy couldnt tell me what it was made from, it was in his jeep when he bought it, but it was supposedly made by some shop in AZ.

I don't think it's a bad setup. I'd bet you can get it for about 175 because it's a pretty specialized scenario that needs that cage in it. And you wouldn't be able to pay someone to add the front spreaders and down tubes to your stock cage for any less than 500.

Just picked up a hydraulic bender and two dies (1.75 & .75) last week so I can make my cage. I'm guessing that it'll get well used by the guys in the club once I finish mine.

(Last I checked, the only place in town to get DOM tubing was over at Westbrook Metal (www.metals4u). Check with them to see what the current price of DOM is and we can work toward getting you a frame built. And yes I've got a decent welder (Miller Matic 251))
