What do you tow with your Jeep?

When I get back from Korea i'm hoping to get a nice pop-up. My parents got some property out by Long Beach, WA and the PNW is great for the outdoors. They are light weight and better than sleeping on the ground.

That's what i'm going to be towing. What do you guys tow?

I am hoping to pick up a 1951 Utility trailer, military styling. The guy works for the govt. though and had to rush off to Japan to assist. Waiting for him to get home so we can finish our deal and I can start cleaning it up .

I used to tow my boat, an 18 foot Mariah but I just did not feel safe doing so. Beside the little 4 banger could barely handle it.
Now I just haul trash to the county dump with an old converted boat trailer. Just got back in fact.

@Tarby...you have the makings for a very nice adventure trailer. Throw a RTT on that bad boy and you are ready to go. Very nice. I've seen some for sale on ebay for $300-1200 bucks.

I'll let ya know...I only paid $500 for it and the guy I bought it off has 2 Bantams too. One he has painted and restored to match his 47 CJ2A, and the other sits in his garage where this one was parked next to it. He was hard up for some money and has worked as a general contractor for me before and offered it to me for a nice price. I'm still gonna ask him if he wants to part with the other Bantam, never know...

I actually use it to haul stuff, in fact, I'm using it tomorrow to remove a headstone for a family out of a cemetery that they are not happy with...so, it gets its fair share of abuse.

my little 4 banger has launched our AR 230 23 foot boat many times and its not small..... and on my profile pick it can acutely pull that trailer pretty good even thought its twice its size haha........ gearing makes a HUGE difference

my 4 banger drags my little tinny around (14ft with a 15hp 4stroke) and also a little utility trailer..... nothing too heavy and not too far.... boar launch is the onlything not flat.... would not reccoment anything with any weight.... even with the 4.0 beause power or not the wheelbase is just toooo short easy to get the tail wagging the dog

I pull an old bethany tent trailer with mine, the trailer empty weight about 1300lbs. Fully loaded I'm pretty sure i'm still under 2000lbs, but with the trailer brakes the jeep does pretty good towing it.
