What have you found on the trail?????

This one ought to be interesting. What have you found out on the trail? Jeep parts, boots, old mine shafts, anything? I saw this on hunting web site and I thought it could be fun to try here...I'm sure all you trail riders have come across some weird stuff out there. Let us know. Bonus points awarded for pictures.

You would have been famous if you'd found Jimmy Hoffa's body in that fridge. You missed your chance.....

And this is going to sound a little gross, but I'll go ahead and throw it out there since gross rarely stops me.......I found a little purple sex toy (woman's best friend) WAY out in the middle of NOWHERE in Afghanistan. I took a picture of it because I didn't think anyone would believe me when I told them about it. I'll see if I can dig up that photo......if anyone really wants to see it. It's not really family friendly though.....

Me and some friends were wheeling in the NC mountains and found a new Bronco that had been stripped of almost everything. Called to report it and found out that the authorities already knew about it, and that it was stolen from a dealer the week before and they still hadn't figured out how to get it out of there.

X3 on the trash. we leave it cleaner than we found it...always carry an extra trash bag. Why can't people stop littering? We too found a machete stuck in a tree. We found a hatchet on the ground (that's good for the tires), and a blow up "doll" duct taped to a gate, with beer cans all around. Must have been quite the party. We picked up the beer cans, but left the "doll".

Took my son wheeling when we had Tacomas, in 96.
We came around a corner and found this Mazda in the middle of the road. We didn't see any people on this particular outing.

...we didn't have a trash bag big enough.
I went back a few days later, and it was gone.

I have found a front leaf spring with the linkage attached in the middle of a tree. The tree must had grown below it and over the years it picked it up

Jimbox. I see a trail on the hill behind the horses...I'm assuming you gave it a whirl!?! Great responses...let's keep going. (of course most people are probably out there, this being the weekend and all... I'm stuck in the office dreaming...) A leaf spring in a tree? That's a cool one. Like to transplant that in my front yard.

I found my wife on a trail. Wheeling with a bunch of friends we were about to leave when another rig showed up. She was riding with a friend in daddys Landcruiser. We gave them credit when they took the hardest climb first. Well she had never ridden in a CJ so I was a gentleman and offered. Well nearly 20 years later she is still the greatest find on a trail for me.

At the place in Bedford I took you to there is broken kids toys, old truck bed liners, shot up car tires and other parts, and trash. I can get some pictures next time I go if anyone wants to see.

At other places I have found 2 abandoned houses with spray paint all over them. There was also a few fallen trees that I towed off to the side of the trail but that's for what I've seen.

Here's a picture of one of the houses we named "The Nazi House". The spots that I blurred out were the spots that had profanity spray painted on them.

There are lots of 4lo, even rocky climbs that I've found out there and one is a shortcut to my 1000yd target, lucky--no cliffs !!

Oh yeah. My son and I came across this old hunting cabin in the middle of nowhere. We were running some power line roads, took a trail off the one we were running and came across this shack next to an old beaver pond.

there is an old 50's era pick up truck that 2 trees grew around along the delaware river. the river flooded back in the 50's and the truck must have gotten wedged between 2 saplings. not only is it wedged, it is wedged on it's side. i should go by and take a pic of it.

I've found an exhaust pipe in the middle of a trail. Someone must have ripped it out while wheeling. I've also found a set of car keys which we nailed to a tree so whoever was looking for them would find them easier.
