Well, actually, it was yesterday, but I bought some really nice elastic/velcro straps @ a climbing shop to strap my seatbelts tight to the rollbar so they don't flap in the wind when the top's off. Since it's freakin' cold now @ Fort Riley, I haven't had a chance tro try them out, but they look pretty failsafe.....

hey im just south of you at McConnell AFB.

The elastic "BLOUSING" straps with the velco work GREAT! for that....and there only 50 cents at your local clothing sales.

You couldve sprayed those bolts with wd40 to make the job a little quicker. Spray, then let sit for a few minutes. With or without the wd40, you could take a wire brush to the ends of the bolts to knock off the surface rust.

I bought a whole set of torx bits at home depot. I would try an Ace, TSC, Home Depot... I'm sure they all have them.

I was out playing for a few hours

and when I was climbing this

I did this ( I think I should stop fixing that flare because everytime I do I hit it again)

and coming of this

I do this

and I thought that was an easy trail with no trail damage

you need a spotter.

And I also did this... scraped a wheel. It was gonna happen sooner or later.

My wheels are all tore up, most of the little fake bead lock screws have been sheared off.

I bought a new Daystar Transmission mount today, now I am not sure when the hell I will have time to install it.

my wheels get scratched alot too but its to be expected in the rocks we play in.

I get teased sometimes about my "skull rims" by the guys who run real beadlocks especially if I blow a bead. lol. But the purpose of those rings on my wheels are to keep the wheels from being bent out of shape. My previous steel rims without the reinforcing rings looks more octagon shaped than circular after a few wheeling trips. Your aluminum rims wont have the same bent wheel problem that steel wheels have so go scratch em and bang em up and have fun doing it.

It was all Symon's fault! Its to be expected, and at least it didn't bend.

HA, Anyone post any pics of Simon trying to hit that notch on the last fall? I haven't been on the VJC yet today.
