Hopefully going to rescue it from being molested by my mechanics

I was told it should be done by today!

today i bought a sticker with that iĀ“m allowed to drive in our bigger cities. from 2008 older cars without catalytic converters are not allowed to drive in bigger cities anymore because of the air pollution.

Went down and met Dirk at DPG-offroad. Ended up getting JKS 1.25'' BL and JKS 1'' motor mount lift.

Great Guy with good info...

well.. for being sick and being forced out to eat when i first started working on my jeep by my gf..

i was able to get the front acos spacers on, the transfer case drop on, and got the motor mounts off.. (by myself =/)

its 3:30 in the morning and my mom wakes up for work in a couple of hours soo ill wait until i wake up in the morning to get to work on cutting the isolators for the mml..

i gotta finish the mml and the bl tomorrow by myself =/ then me and my gfs dad will be putting the front trackbar on and then we will do the rear if my new shocks get in in time..

if not im heading to the badlands with my rear the way it is now..

actually my front and rear are sitting somewhat level now.. i have the acos set for as low as they will go (1.25'') hopefully ill get the rear in and my new shocks so i can raise it a little

Thanks Scout, It's exaclty the look I was looking for, now I just have to work on adding to it making it more capable one piece at a time. I need to start by installing all the parts that are still sitting out in the garage!!

I hope you have some lower control arms. Now that I see it in the day, you need longer lower arms.

Leave the body lift. It looks good. Besides there are generally more skid plate choices with a body lift than without.

i have my jeep back...!!!

now i have two ARB airlockers and 4.56 gears.

the jeep drives like a sports car now. kickdown at 40 mph and the tires spin...and only a bit too much gas in curves and the jeep slides...

i love this setup...!!!

front axle:

rear axle:

finished my mml, bl, and installed the trackbar..

didnt get my new shocks yet..

i had to keep the old bb in the rear because my shocks dont have much more room to stretch..

whenever the shocks come in.. ill add the rear acos and the tb bracket.. put the new shocks in.. and actually put some lift on the front acos to match the rear..

my camera for some reason wont turn on even with new batteries.. but ill get some tomorrow at the badlands on my girls camera..

i also say leave it...just take off the nerf bars and it will look good...there won't be a gap so it'd look a lot better.

plus, you'd probably have to get a sye/cv and upper adjustables if you went to 4.5" springs (if you don't already have sye/cv)

I was all set for a day of bowhunting with my boy (he's 6) this morning but had to come home before leaving town. Bearing in the idler pully locked up. So we got a new pully (and belt) and are planning on trying to go out Sun. morning.

i was wheeling the fiirst time with my locker and the 4.56 gears.
man thats so slow in 4H, that really makes fun.
and with the lockers everything goes easy and slow and not with full throttle and spinning wheels like before.

heh.. at the badlands i rode in a guys rig with dana 60s both with arb lockers..
he has a hemi in his rig too lol..

he ran up a hill in 2wd at first.. when he started to burry himself in.. he just pushed the gas a tad bit.. and bam we were out..

then we went up the same hill in 4wd with both lockers on.. and he didnt even have to push on the gas lol
