Installed my front adjustable trackbar and my rear relocation bracket!! Looks better and drives better too. It actually took care of some driveline vibes that I was getting in 2nd gear!! Go figure!!

Removed the side steps for winter, those things are dangerous when it snows Looks better anway. Removed the spare tire, carrier, and 3rd brake light. Much cleaner, and MUCH lighter to get in the trunk.

Got the hard top and put it on for winter. Another big difference. Wired the wiring harness and got that all squared away.

Last good wash/wax before the salt hits.
Also changed the plugs out.

Still left on my list:
Have the jeep dealer fix my "brake" issue. Everytime the front end dives, the front driveshaft is wacking the exhaust manifold. Common issue apparently.

Remove front Q tips and reinstall my shovel after I get her back from the dealer

Maybe get some new shocks to smooth out the ride a tad. Gets a little rough after a few hundred mile road trip. May not.. we shall see. those rancho 5100/9000 are tempting though..as are the RE monotubes

Oil change, and axle fluid change

Finish my CB. Somehow the extrenal speaker wires got cut during the wiring harness installation. Got to get a new one, and get a nut behind the CB bracket bolts. the passenger bolt keeps working itself out.

Last but not least, pay her off, lift it, and wheel the PISS out of it!! Wait... thats 5 years away. Guess I better get used to "logging" roads

Well I did this yesterday; Its Thanksgiving, and my day off, I'm not working on the Jeep today. But yesterday I put the rear driveline in after a few months of driving around in 4HI. I also ordered a header, and a rear bumper. for credit cards!

first i´ll install some additional 2" spacers on top of the OME springs. i didn´t do it before because i didn´t know if that´s legal here.
and then i´ll spend more money for offroading than for modifying my jeep.
this wilter i will install an SYE and a belly up skidplate then my jeep is "ready".

dropped it off to get the tranny looked at it in the morning..

they are doing a drain and fill on her too.. hopefully that'll fix some of my problems..

hopefully all goes well tomorrow so i can install my new shocks

and i got a few things to do this winter too..

i really want to wait to do a sye until i can afford to drop a d44 in with it at the same time..
this winter i wanna get a d30 from a cherokee, put a super 30 with an arb kit in it, and regear it.. then itll sit in the garage until this summer..

also i needa start looking into tube fenders.. im getting some for xmas

i picked my jeep up from getting the tranny drained/flushed/refilled.. still doesnt shift past 2nd tho =/

my gpa said he'd help me get a loan if i sell my jeep.. so tomorrow instead of putting my parts that are sitting in the garage waiting to go on, i might start returning it to stock.. i want to get the tranny fixed then im gonna sell it.. i found a 05 rubi i want.. except its silver, but its the only one i can find with low milage.. it only has 14000 miles for 21000.. but ill get the axles i want and lockers.. so that makes my buildup go by quicker if i do get it

what are the differences in tops between the 99s and 05s? will my hardtop fit on it?

Hard top will fit fine. Wont be the newer style without the vents, but it will fit. Your going to need to convert the harness though.

good luck with the rubi. Love mine most the time You looking at a 5spd or 6spd?
