Took it on a nice drive in the Smoky Mountains. Some back roads i'd never been on before. We had a good time just the two of us. Saw some guys working on their lifted suzuki sammys, honked the horn and flipped them off.

Did a little mud riding up at a friends farm. It was pretty fun. We got a few inches of snow here this morning. We usually don't get snow down here, so we made the best of it and played around in the jeep this afternoon.

Re ran the power and negative to my CB. Much quieter than the way I had it before (running straight to battery, along the main harness)

Installed my PA speaker

clear nail polished around the hole I drilled for the teraflex cb mount

Installed the older sPOD system to help clean up my wiring.

re aimed my Hellas.

Had a little/very slight vibe, it almost felt like road feel. I sucked the arms in 1/8" and its gone, smooth as butter.

Little late but last weekend i installed some infinity reference speakers in the dash and the roll bar...it sounds SO much better than those POS stock speakers. Mounting brackets for the dash speakers needed a little modification but i got them all installed in about 45 mins.

Anyone need some stock speakers???

made my first test drive with my new STTs. they are really good on the road. they brake better on wet roads and cobblestones than my 3 years old BFG ATs.

next saturday i will test the STTs in an offroad park.

thank you all for telling me to buy the STTs and not MTRs or BFG MTs.

It all depends on the angles you take, take a look at the tread that I started in On the Trail section called Coppenger Cove...I drove thru the same mud hole and did not blow a bead.

ya I know it depends on the angle, power your putting into the tires, even tire direction...but thats always by excuse to the woman when I "have" to get something so this doesn't happen to me!

Hey Trip, it was all in the angle and line that they took going into the mud pit.

My hole is just fine. It was my fender flare that took a good bit of damage.

Hehe , do i see bushwackers on the way?

is there a hole in the top too or is that just "cleaner" spot where the mud could not get up to? It just looks a bit different than the surrounding area.

Nope, going with the same kind. They are the Omix-ada kind. They are made here in town, so I am going over there next week and showing them what happened. They said they may replace it.

Here is a better picture to show the damage.
