Not me. My G-pappy. Found out last week he had bladder cancer. Today he went in to have it removed. Doc said he got it all and would be "shocked" if he needed further treatment.

Prayer does work!

I have been pretty stressed out about it. It was a big weight off my shoulders to hear the good news. The man has been more of a father figure to me.

The inner plastic fenders cover the plastic "nuts" the fender flare bolts screw into. You have to hold them with pliers because they aren't "nuts" they are rectangular plastic blocks that have a slight taper to them causing the pliers to pop off of them when you squeeze harder. It's tough to hold the inner fender out of the way, hold the nuts with pliers, and turn the ratchet.

The bolts have 5/8" heads and are so close to the top of the flare that it is hard to get a ratchet on because it has to be held at an angle. The head is also thin so you have to really push the ratchet hard to catch them. Plus they are long enough that using a ratchet requires many turns to get them clear out.

I tried using my air ratchet, but it wouldn't fit under the lip of the flare. It took me three hours!

Ugh. Oh well it's gotta be done. Whenever I go through sticky shallow mud the tires fling the clods right up on top. It's kinda funny to see it happen, but I wouldn't want to have the top off when it's happening.
