i already have some 4" longer rear sway bar end links. i will install them with the shocks.

Longer sway bar end links are a must in the rear. You should also extend your JKS quicker disconnects to put the sway bar back into the proper operating angle.

are the rear handbrake line long enough for the long travel shocks? in the rear the shocks are only a bit over 2" longer than now...

i adjusted my JKS discos yesterday when i installed the pins at the frame.

If there isn't enough slack in the cables just disconnect the bracket from the control arm and let it hang free. You should be fine that way.

any way to extend them? When i installed my rear coils, i barely got the axle down far enough to put the coil on.

Today i loosened the lines from the control arms so at least they can rotate a bit on the bolt (its rusty so it wont fall off)

Nico dont you have the 2" OME shocks now anyways?

is there anything else i have to extend? or is there something else?

@Triple88a:

Nico - Yeah, just unbolt that bracket from the UCA. My rear break lines just hang as well because of the rear upper adjustable arms.

yeah, just a little bit
The deal fell through with a blazer I was buying so now these will go under a Jeep.

I took off the inspection plates of the rear today.
It was the first time that I've opened up a diff and the gear oil smelled good. The axles are in great condition. None of the bolts are rusted to crap, my co-workers daughter(7) was even able to undo most of them after I cracked them.
the only thing noticeable wrong with them is that a pinion seal on the front axle needs to be replaced.

Cleaned the engine and washed the outside. Removed my rear seatbelts. Also took the hard top off. It's not going back on until the first snow.

thanks for letting me me know, I never heard of rocks axles actually. We learn something every day though

Mr C i wonder how loud that would be sounds like straight pipes.

reason for loudness is playgrounds now days seem to lower max muffler levels on regular basis.

Recently they lowered the Laguna Seca exhaust level to 92 db or so. A modern day lawnmower is about 90 db loud.

I dunno how loud it is. It isn't straight pipes. It is a healthy cam and new valve train. I can't wait!!
