the sunrider doesn't use door surounds well not like the factory ones. they use a different type of suround. that comes with the brakets.

it's a L-shaped braket that attaches just like the factory suround but the door shuts against it to seal.

Looks good distortedtj, you'll like it better for summer. Easy to put up and take down.

Sweet! Maybe I'll take the hard top off on my next non-working day.

Stupid me, never knew that the whole time. The guy I got it from said I needed surrounds.

Well this is more like what I did this week (starting Tuesday) as I have been real busy but....

1) I prepped and herc'ed the tub.

2) Installed new cutout flares on the rear.

3) Installed new Warn rock sliders.

4) Installed new JB4x4 high steer kit.

5) Painted and reinstalled most of the soft top hardware and all the door latches.

6) Reinstalled the taillights and gas filler neck.

7) Reassembled and reinstalled the steering column.

8) Bolted the seats back up.

9) Put the dash back in.

10) Bolted up all the HVAC stuff and fabbed up my new defroster for my custom dash.

11) AND..... ran the WHOLE FLIPPIN wiring harness back through the tub except for some of it in the engine bay(no fenders or grille yet).

Ohhh and I found the time to help a buddy hook up his new soft top and weld up his hardtop cart..... which he never posted up a pic of....

I finally ran one tank of gas completely on the new 35s.

before i used to get 230-235 miles on the odo before the light turned on.
Today, with the 35s i got 223 on the odo before the light turned on. I never got a new speedo gear so that means i have better mpg than with the stock 30s.

223 x 1.17 = 260...

I never claimed to be a mature individual. So your suggestions fall on deaf ears.

EDIT: Forgot the chart.

This is the chart I've used with decent results using my GPS as verification.

Exactly why you were wrong. The odometer reads fewer miles than whats actually driven.

You said you normally get 230+... and this time you got 223. That is LESS.

replace the gear and calculate again. You won't get accurate readings until then.

I think that about sums it up. It don't get much simpler than that.
Except in my case, I just push a button on the speedo and drive 2 miles and push it again.

Same here. Autometer is nice. I use my GPS to drive the 2 mile distance.
