no idea.. my dads truck gets nice mpg for a truck.. his hemi has the thing that shuts it down from a 8cyl to a 4cyl at a constant rpm.. like cruising down the highway at 55..

he gets 14-17 mpg

oh and an inside scoop i got.. the guy is in my jeep club and is an engineer in detriot..

chrysler is starting a thing called ORT off road technology.. where instead of buyin a jeep then lifting it.. you can get one custom made with the parts you want on it.. and itll all be added into your monthly payment.. sort of like srt models, but instead of making em faster they lift em

a newer member in our club is designing the banner for em =p and the guy from detriot is starting it

This is cool depending on what brands they use. If AEV is involved it will be too pricey.

i think aev is involved.. the guy im talking about just had a jk cutomized from aev

he also just got done building a brute

if aev is involved.. im sure chrysler can help them mass produce the parts.. which will make em cheaper

I find this a bit hard to believe. My reason is the "cheap parts" sold by the dealer.

At least now we will have some competition and more people buying upgraded rigs might get us some more playgrounds (more "kids" playing).

yep especially around here.. my town has 50k people, we have 3 chrysler plants and one being built 5 miles out of town..

people will be more likely to get it lifted from the stealership on a lease instead of doing it themselves.. so there will be less stock jeeps around here

kokomo has a TON of wranglers as is

I cut a hole in my windshield frame for my custom defroster. Gotta love cutting wheels. They're right up there with duct tape.

How do you like the sound and fit of those reference 4x6's? I was looking at those the other day for me jeep. It looked like the rubber surround on the speaker would be up against the dash.
