Last night I installed the compressor for my Rancho 9000 "in-cab" shock controller unit. Tonight I'm going to install the controller piece and run the air lines. Tomorrow night, I'm going to hook the whole thing up to the shocks. I'll do a write-up and review when it's all done.

I had to use a torch to cut 5 hopelessly stuck bolts!

The JJ's are from currie. I'm using their forged housings with the 1.25x12 shank. I upgraded the inners to use a 5/8" bolt. The arms are drilled and tapped to receive both threads. I will have a right and left hand thread on each arm to make adjustments easy. My JJs should be here tomorrow from currie and my controls arms the day after. I am getting them from Kenneth at http://www.kore4x4customs.com/
I'm stoked!
If you don't mind my asking what did the JJ's run you apiece? I'm contemplating either getting rid of my suspension all together or switching the joints out to JJ's instead of the crap cartridge joints that are in there now.

Also right and left thread is the way to go. It's the only good way to use fixed bushing at one end and flex joint at the other. Since you are going full hydro are you triangualting the front too?

My arms will be parallel lowers and triangulated uppers. The JJs are 35 bucks from Currie. What joints do you currently have?

It's hard to tell what Junk Troy was using back when he put my kit together. For awhile he was using RE's joints and then he owed them money and they wouldn't sell to him. Then I heard he was using the guy that used to make RE's joints. But now he's using something that can't stand up to actual wheeling with aluminum arms. He's changed them out for me in the past and they will last 1 run before they start blowing out. I can keep them greased beyond belief to no avail. 35 a piece isn't bad for the JJ's and I've always heard good things about their J-Arms with JJ's on them. I might have to look over at least changing out all of my lowers to JJ's.

I think it does count.....as long as you were dreaming of what is next for your jeep!!!! Research and Development!!!

I installed a 6 position auxiliary fuse block w/ground terminal strip, 5 LED rocklights, 2 LED dome light replacements, and a new Coast driveline for the front.

Hallelujah!!!

Fixed my steering today! Picked up a JKS trackbar from a local shop and ran it over to the alignment shop to get it installed. They set the toe-in (which was way off) and installed the trackbar. Now it drives like a dream again! WooHOO!!!!! No more slop!!!!

My steering has been the BIGGEST headache I've ever had with my Jeep - today it's all behind me!!!!

Bought a CB for it, now I just need to wire it, and find a place for it. Maybe one of these days I'll start building a cage for it too. I'd install it today, but a big cold front moved in and now it's freezing and starting to snow, so another day then.

Ordered my Co2 tank. I just went with the 15 pound Power Tank with the mounting bracket, upgraded "rock guard handle" (who knows what the hell that is??) and a 20 foot hose.

Who cares what the cool kids do. If everyone did what the cool kids always do everyone would have 1 tons, 42s, and big Chevy V8 power.
