Installed duster and windjammer. You wouldn't think so, but it was harder to get that duster on than it was to install the rocksliders. Also, it's clear the duster is designed to be installed with your soft top folded back, not physically removed, but if you order the "hard top" deck cover you wind up paying like 40 dollars more just to get hardware you already have. In case that isn't clear, my point is that the back of the deck cover has a fair amount of slack in it because there is not a folded up soft top underneath it.

I'll just take a picture when the sun comes back up. For anyone considering going with the bikini-windjammer-duster combo, it is really a HELL of a lot easier to put the softtop up and down than it is to remove or replace any of those components.

I drained the rear differential fluid and changed it. I put synthetic in but I don't think that's what it had. Anyway it looked like thick coffee so either way it needed to be changed.

No job worse than changing diff fluid. I'm afraid to crack the case on my tow rig.

I didn't really think it would be that bad as it's only got 44,000 miles on it but it was pretty nasty. I am gonna hate to look at my wife's 2000 Grand Cherokee. It has 135000 miles and it hasn't been changed in the 2 years she has had it, and who knows how long before then, probably never!

I can roll right along with it. My old mans old chevy pickup has 218k on the dial. It hasn't worked for awhile either. He's had the truck since 78k and the 10 bolt in the rear has never been changed.

Mine gets changed on a regular basis. I absolutely hate it. And I have 3 vehicles to service on both ends.

I guess next weekend I will tackle the grand cherokee. I just dread doing it becasue it's all time 4wd so I have to do both ends. Quick question for someone. I was told that I needed the synthetic for the rear with the trac loc but what about the front. I am guessing there is a tag like on the rear but I know someone will know right off the top of their head. Thanks

I fixed an annoying rattle in mine, and I dropped a new long block into a cj, and it fought me the whole way.

I'm glad scout pointed out the top. I couldn't figure out what I was supposed to look for.

It's nice. Soft top = much better.
