Believe it or not, it became a chick magnet. Interesting event at the Hess station, but can't say.

I have built many speaker boxes and didn't wanna say it!! Don't give up, I remember my first box!! The better you line everything up before you start drilling and screwing the easier it is to seal everything up!! Also you need to seal up all the joints with what ever you decide to use, I use liquid nails.

went to start putting stuff on the new crate motor i ordered, dad just went to put the pilot bushing on (the first thing going on to the new motor), and it didnt fit... WTF, so now i have to call 4wd or ATK directly and see if they sent me the wrong motor, or if there's supposed to be some bushing in there that holds the pilot bearing, because on the old engine, it has to be driven in, where it just slides in/out/around on the new one. ARG! i haven't driven my jeep in like a month! I MISS IT!

Nice tire "carrier".. my question is how do you take it off from there, or do you have to manhandle the thing down to the ground and then lift the bad tire back up?

Also since we're somewhat on the topic of flares, i did the heat gun trick and it seems to be fading again. (~2 months)

Not going to happen lol. More about function than looks for me besides, that is mud stains from a few different states on the front flares. Looking forward to some battle marks on the rock sliders soon

It is not easy getting the spare up there and in general I don't carry 1. I am going on the Harlan trip and am driving my rig so I needed something and my tweaked tailgate was not an option. Good thing is I don't wheel alone so help is there to wrestle the tires. A stock spare carrier is welded on top of the tubes.

Tripp is afraid to lift heavy things.

Hey Tripp, I would guess you take the spare off, before you start jacking the jeep up to replace the tire. This is in the Trail Trip 101 book, do you need a copy?

Harlan trip will be awesome and if the need arises, I will do my best to lift the tire up off that rack.

But I will also have a plug kit and hopefully my Air tank by then. Just waiting on the regulator.

Oh and Crafty, I am pretty sure we will be testing out the rocker guards.

lol I have the little 30" stocker on my stock carrier and i still havent had the need to take it off however i did measure my 35s.. 87 lb . Not much but when you cant get a good grip on the tire to lift it up by your self.. it gets annoying

Just so you know, i work in a metal shop where we lift up 200-300 lb pieces of steel in lathes
