Placed an order for Lift, tires, and wheels... everything should be done by the begining of next month. If it all shows up.

I wheeled the heck out of it and participated in a trail cleanup and repair session to make sure I have a place to wheel.

Todd/Dave - yeah, so I was told... they placed the tires on order so that they should show up in time... hopfully. Gave me a great deal, so I had to say yes.

Finished installing the OME stage 1 lift that my father started for me, replaced the stock steel rims with alloy rims from a Wrangler Sport, and added 31" BFG AT's.

Put my new Hurst short shifter in, a much shorter throw and much more positive shifts than before, I am very impressed overall with the difference that it made.

I spent 2 hours washing off the dirt and mud from wheelin' last week, and then another hour detailing it just to have it start raining before I got a chance to wax it. Cursed rainy season, at least the mud is off it now

Not sure if you were referring to the OME lift that I installed but no, not too many problems. My biggest problem was not having the mechanical knowledge to know what things were. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get the extension bracket for the panhard rod on. Turns out the thing I was working on was not the panhard rod...now I know. The front coils were a pain but the rear coils were a piece of cake to install since they just dropped in.

Since I didn't get to go wheelin' on Saturday, I spent most of the day Sunday working on the Jeep:

Installed RE Superflex adjustable upper control arms and was able to fine tune out the minor vibration I was getting at 50 mph.

Re-mounted and re-wired rear rock lights

Re-mounted and re-wired front rock lights

Installed (and wired to solenoids) four new switches - see pic 1

Installed and finished wiring external CB speaker - see pic 2

The rock lights are all on 1 switch.

The other 3 are for:
Front spots - Winshield mount
Front spots - Bumper mount
Rear spots (Future)

I decide that my Jeep should have brakes on all four wheels again. The adjusters were good and frozen so I bought some new ones. Maybe some day soon I can even put them on.
