Andy, I had to take mine off with my RK setup. I have waaaaaaay too much droop with the 14" travel shocks. I would've just folded that thing over on itself and snapped it right in half. I'm loving the susension even more now with nothing up there.

I wheeled the hell out of mine and even ripped a shock bracket off the rear axle. It was my fault for getting pissed in a boulder field and bouncing around like a pin ball.

Sick wheelin though. It was a good day.

I've been debating whether or not to cut the whole front end off my jeep. I could run less bumpstop if I cut the front frame off and tube it out. I doubt I will care much that it isn't there but my wife will really benefit from it so the trade off is great for the both of us.

I've heard this is one of the great benefits of coilovers. Tuning the spring rates will do just as much as the antirock.

got the exhaust piping and the hanger hook ready to weld.. used duct tape to tape everything together and make sure it fits and adjust it if it needs an adjustment rather than welding first and then find out the pipes are not aligned right Tomorow = welding

Prep'd it for a drive to Bullhead City. Planning to look around the Kingman area hills this weekend. It's a 7-1/2 hr drive and I'm sure it going to feel like 20 hrs.

Any body have any ideas on places to go?

As it sits now aren't you going to be running 90 degree approach angle in the front? With removing the steering box and simply just boxing in the front crossmember should work out fine for you for now eh?

And yeah, your wife's rig will definitely love the AR. I loved it too with my old setup. But now it's jut not needed.

With the 42s on I should have tire at least 2" in front of the stinger so I'm not 100% sure what the number will be. I'm going to make the managerial decision soon once I get everything in place and can see the flex for real. I may just notch the frame to clear the tie rods but I will have to see once that gets closer.

Mine got a hail bath cleaned all the chunked up mud off, then the flooded streets made a nice wall of water at about 15 mph to finish the job off.

I washed it ,and then took it wheeling and got it all dirty.
The snow is just about all gone. The good news is we got into the cabin. This is the earliest we've ever gotten in. Summer is officially started.
