I bought a new inner shift boot from Quadratec (10 bucks cheaper than my local DLR) The old one ripped when I dropped the transmission for a new clutch a cpl weeks ago.

Transmission still sucks...driving it less and less.

it was kinda a B**** to put on but once it was in its solid I think its a great alternative to the stock 4x4 vacuum system

After 83,000 miles with the original serpentine belt i decided to put on a new one. From my frequent checking of the old belt it looked ok ... just a few cracks here and there. But knowing this was the original belt i decided it was time to replace it so I'm not doing it when its -20 degrees below 0 in the middle of winter. After taking the old one off i could see some of the cracks were almost broken clear through the belt. I'm sure glad i decided to put on a new one.

I was looking at replacing the fixed steering column with an adjustable one on my YJ. But instead I ordered a Grant steering wheel with a 11.5 DIA as opposed to the 15 inch stock wheel. This should give me plenty of leg /theigh room for me for under $60.00 with install kit. My problem was, it was tight and my theigh was always rubbing the wheel. If not I am not out that much if it dont work them I'll go back to plan A.

Went out wheelin and took my friend along. Meet up with 4-5 other Jeeps and several very large Suburbans and pickups jacked up. Played in the mud, explored new trails and watched a YJ flip over on its side.

Put a console in my YJ. Added some fluid to the rear diff and checked all of fluid levels. Also installed a storage unit in the back behind my rear seat.
