Ill take a pic of it tomorrow. I dont know what its called to be honest. I had bought my Jeep from my future Mother-in-law and it came with it. I believe its by Bestop but not sure. It mounts behind the back seat of my YJ and butts up to the rear tailgate. I think its more for protection and you can put your valuables there and lock the tailgate.

Do you ever worry that you will break down in the desert? Maybe I worry too much.

on Sat Eve........took a rattle can of rustoleum bedliner to my front bumper, removed the rubber 'bumperettes' guess they're called, and sprayed the headlight bezels.

Next i think i may spray the entire front grill next...still need to do the rear bumper.

Time for an oil change-and grease. Glad the miles and "good" fall weather hit at same time.

Changed the worn out and (broken drivers side) vinyl seats for a set of nice cloth seats with the headrests and Jeep logo sewn in. Also got rid of the 2 stationary drivers side seat brackets for a flip up base. Now both sides flip up and forward for easier access to the rear seat area. Both seats and bases for $50.00. Still need to go get the rear seat to match probably this weekend.

Picked up some Royal Purple 75W-140 for when my new gears are broken in and I drain out the Valvoline 80W-90 here in a week or so. Gotta quiet down those Lock Rights... I've got Lube Locker gaskets and a new speedo gear on the way too.

Guy a couple miles from me has a couple TJ's, YJ's and a CJ or 2 he's parting. The one i got the seats from was a wreck (totaled). Will be getting a few misc. parts from him in the near future.

I know its not a lot compared to what the rest of ya do, but I moved my front license plate from the bottom holes to the top holes so it sticks up instead of down to get bent up all the time.
Plus that way I can start making brackets to hold the jack I'm gonna get from Northern

I started undercoating both Jeeps with this rubberized rust-oleum I found, but I ran out of paint

The stuffs neat, I sprayed a sheet of aluminum with it and chucked a few rocks (with some decent force) at it after it dried and they didn't even put a scratch in it I'm just hoping that it'll stand up to salt and snow

Added to the collection of Wranglers this weekend...bought this yj and plow off of a guy I know...no rust at all. Older guy that is totally anal about maintenance and care. That makes...4 wranglers and my cj.

The decals will be removed and I have new springs coming for it before plowing comes into play...

Cool, last time I looked in the Auto section was for some kind of liner for the pan afetr I ripped out the carpet, after seeing it was $43 a gallon I decided to use some old aircraft rain erosion coating.

Today I yanked the front bumper, removed the little rubber "bumperetes", and painted the bumper before I put it back on, pics will be on here soon as I get em off the phone Did a little rust work where the bumper sits too

Rust on drivers side, also I found a 1/4" crack in the tube that goes from side to side so I welded that too

Gotta love rust converter

(5)

And here we are with the bumper back on. And before anybody else notices, when I was putting th license plate back on I noticed I put the hooks on backwards, yes I have fixed that since then. Oh and I anti-seized all 6 bolts, for the next time they have to come out again.
