took my friend out wheeling for the first time.

Word of advice: dont go wheeling with only one rig and no cell phones and with low fuel...

The other day my buds and i were driving (they are into cars).. we saw this nice incline.. much steeper than 45 degrees so they are like you'll never make it up that hill.. didnt even break a sweat with my stock drivetrain TJ

Kinda like this - looking down from the it looked rough but was a piece-o-cake... even with 29" radial tires

Yep - Its sitting in the shipping box in the front room. I attached the lower "skid" on it that angles down from the front. It seems to be a pretty sturdy bumper, for $100 anyway. The powdercoat seems to be a bit thin as it has a couple of small chips on it(more than likly from bouncy shipping) but with some black spray paint it will be fine. And for the price I'd say its a deal.

Good stuff mainard. The guy finally emailed me about my winch today and said it should be here any time so I think I will order up one of those bumpers as well. Does it look like it will have any problems attaching a Steering box skid to it?

Good deal. I have two sitting in the garage so I figured I should at least use one of them. Looks like the Genright one will get put on soon. My steering box will love me.

Thats nice when you have to set your jackstands up on wheels to get them to reach the frame it's so high!! I can't imagine the clearance with some 40's on it!!

Umm... not seeing anything gray.

I have a round cardboard tube used to ship drive shafts in the mail cut in half and put over my coilovers to protect them from paint and weld splatter and the grinder.

OK, started working on the new RE 3.5" SuperFlex kit last night.... Put her on jackstands and tore off the old sneakers.
Had my 9 year old son do most of the work...great bonding activity.

With any luck, I'll get the new TSL's going and continue the progress tonight.
