I got my freshly painted mirrors, wiper arms, and front jeep thing on. Oh yeah and my new 31`s I`m just a little worryed about how there gonna wear them seem really soft, but everything I`ve read on them says they`ve worn really good so time will tell. I think I`m gonna have to get a leveling spacer for the front to even things out though!

There would be a sharp decline in the neighborhood cat population if that happened to me. A surpressed 22 comes to mind.

No. I found that out yesterday but luckily the soft top will fold right over it.

Question for everyone with the hood mounted hilift. Your not scared of it coming thru the wind shield in a crash?

I thought of that. I've heard some stories about the jack coming through and injuring them.

1 bold + 1 screw + bracket not tightened down to surface of cowl = ???

I applaud people for doing the work on their own vehicles. But if something goes wrong, guess who is to blame? I'm hoping that there are locked nuts (even use loctite) on the business side of those fasteners! If the bracket is loose, even under normal driving conditions, it has the possiblity of denting, bending, cutting into the cowl. It may stretch out the hole to a point where the whole bracket breaks off. I would suggest not mounting metal to metal unless you're 100% sure you've got a completely tight, flush fit. Otherwise, put a thin layer of rubber between the two. Get creative, use a swim cap, a balloon, something between the two layers.

Good luck!

Replaced my bottom radiator hose just in time! It had a friction cut from rubbing the frame that was 1/16" away from rupture.
