My YJ got new shoes. BFG KM2's 31x10.50x15.

Also, adjusted the linkage on the TC, so now I can get into 4L.

Time to dirty 'em up!

I think you mean bored haha. I ran without fenders for a week. Sucks for wheeling spits mud right into the dashboard. But the sticker looks good!

Bought the same ones a month ago. Had no problem installing their fog lights down front but can get the spot lights to work. Yes the ground is good, even grounded it to the battery. No blown fuses and all connections are good. Any suggestions? Wiring is definitely not my forte lol

Ok how many wires from the harness did you connect to the battery?

Maybe the problem is in the switch wiring? Are you using the KC switch? From the relay, you should have one wire to ground, one to a power source, and one to switch...and it does matter which go where. From switch, one goes to relay, one to ground and one to power.

The switch has a power wire. (white) and the relay to lights has power (yellow) both need to be powered to battery.

Post a link to the thread you started for this problem. (I remember seeing it) and I will post full write up with pics on the wiring.

Changed rear brake pads and two striped studs. Found out one star adjuster was rusted solid rendering it useless and brake way out if adjustment.

Have those same lights myself -but bumper mounted. How do they work mounted up that high? Any issues with glare off of hood?

I take in abused children (a.k.a., an ignored Jeep). Months back I posted that I bought a 1997 Wrangler for $1800. It hadn't been inspected since '08 and I've just now started to get into repairing it, including giving it some needed paint (all with rattle balls).

It sat over the winter and I now have the free time I needed to give it the attention it needs.

In the last two weeks...

Rewired the fog lights and radio (previous owner wired the radio so that it was constantly "hot" and would run down the battery, if I didn't remove the battery terminal.

Painted the rims silver instead of the fire engine red that the last owner painted them, with a brush (last owner, not me).

Replaced the front trackbar, steering dampener, and 4 shocks to rid myself of the death wobble - and my God, that scared the living s**t out of me when it happened at 60 mph!

Replaced the metal brake lines from the master cylinder to all 4 wheels, the brake cylinders, and new brake pads all around.

Replaced the leaking oil pan (rusted out).

Banged off, wired brushed, and scraped off rust on everything I could reach underneath and painted.

Replaced the manifold exhaust gasket, which made the rattling of the water pump evident.

So, TODAY I'm installing a new water pump and serpentine belt.

By the way, who is the engineer that came up with the setup for the tensioner pully wheel? Took an idiot like me a full 5 minutes to comprehend that it didn't "flex" like every other car I owned. A screw system? It explains why the water pump needs replacing. The last owner tightened it to the point of causing the water pump to have its impeller score the housing.

Glad you found that out. I would be in the same situation like wtf. Especially since I was planning on doing that soon. Glad I read this

No issues. They do glare. But all the backwash is hidden by the windshield frame.

Got these in the mail today. Sadly they came before my front bumper. Heavy as hell. Btw I wear an xl glove. As you can see the paint finish sucks. But I could prolly blame that on Rokmen packaging them in target magazines...and they didn't send me a militia member sticker.

That's exactly what ran through my mind (WTF?).
I'm just glad nobody was watching me trying to pry it in the beginning of figuring it out.

You'll probably figure it out like I did, but to make your life simpler...

Loosen the tension wheel bolt (in the center of the tension wheel).
There is also a long bolt that runs from the top of the bracket (that holds the tension wheel) and behind the tension wheel to the bottom of the bracket. The tension wheel rides along this bolt. Counter-clockwise to loosen the tension. Clockwise to increase tension.

Don't forget to re-tighten the main bolt after you've adjusted it.
