Today I glued the rear view mirror back on the windshield, woke up this morning and found it in the floor and almost threw it away cause with a mirror on each side I really don't need it, but it IS kinda nice to have every now and then.

I wired it exactly as i did the 100w kc fog lights i have down in front. The white wire it attached to the alternator and the yellow to the battery. And as i said before the ground is good. The wiring for the switch is the same setup as the other for the fog lights. the only thing i can think of is the relay is bad but i dont know why.

Did you take the button off and glue it on by itself? Or the whole mirror? I did just the button and let it dry for 20 mins before attaching the mirror back on

I'd call Kc. Have them send you all new wiring. Tell them what your problem be and they should set you up. Or try connecting the white wire on the alternator directly to the battery. That should bypass it and allow you to have them on even if the car is not.

You'll probably figure it out like I did, but to make your life simpler...

Loosen the tension wheel bolt (in the center of the tension wheel).
There is also a long bolt that runs from the top of the bracket (that holds the tension wheel) and behind the tension wheel to the bottom of the bracket. The tension wheel rides along this bolt. Counter-clockwise to loosen the tension. Clockwise to increase tension.

Don't forget to re-tighten the main bolt after you've adjusted it.
Ok! Thanks for the info. Haha. I would have jut been like ah to heck with it. And had my buddy with a shop do it

Good luck. Btw. You'll need a ring lug for the white wire.

Bought a coolant tester for $1.80 and some stop leak to hopefully stop this slow leak I've had for the last couple months

Yesterday I pulled my hard top off, and put on the Spiderweb shade and the Smittybilt CRES.

Today I pulled off my winch in preparation of painting the front grill tomorrow.

Do you by chance have a test light? If so, did you test the wires to make sure they are getting juice?

According to the KC Wiring Harness diagram:
From the relay
Black to ground
Yellow to +12V battery
Green to load (switch)
From the switch
Green to load (relay)
Brown to ground
White to +12V power

I've personally never hook one to the alternator. Can you verify it is hot when the ignition is on? Try moving it directly to battery as KidRock171 suggests.

All this looks correct^^^
That and the only thing the brown wire from switch to ground does nothing except turn the switch led on. Just sayin.

No, the noise absolutely kills me (ear condition), plus I got nailed with a rock in the neck last time I drove on them with them off on the highway

Got half of my BCC rock sliders installed yesterday. I got the full length sliders, so had to remove my flares. What a pain...and the reason I only have HALF of them installed. But...what FUN, too. I love the opportunity to get dirty/greasy with my Jeep, and do anything different from my work life.

So there are 9 rivnuts and 12 bolts/plastic nuts on each side. The three holding the plastic rocker guards on came off ok, as well as the one closest to the rear bumper. The other five (all three on front flare and two forward of the wheel well on rear flare) had to be cut or ground off because they just spin. I cut several with a cutting wheel on my rotary tool, then decided to grand a few off. What a PITA. Had to drill the rivnuts out when I was done. Spent today going around to all the hardware stores, Lowes, TSC, auto parts stores, etc., looking for a way to reattach the flares. Read in an old thread about using Well Nuts and/or push-on nylon rivets, so I bought enough of each to use. Probably use the nylon rivets because nobody seems to carry automotive 10-32 x 3/4" fender bolts/washers for the well nuts. Found several black bolts, but all the washers are shiny silver. In also have to trim the front and rear flare before reattaching them. More fun!
