after 10 years with the factory soft top, today my silver surfer was fitted with a trektop NX. a super simple job with just a phillips head screwdriver and no blood or tears but a lot of sweat thanks to the south florida sun.

we've traveled 1300 miles over the last four days, so tomorrow it's bath time!

They may like them but the last time Blue got a mud pack it took me weeks to get all the mud off his belly. There's probably mud up under there somewhere to this day. No more facials for Blue. Unless I just happen to come across a really good puddle. I hate mud, but I can't let a good splash get away.

Not today, but during the holiday weekend...installed my BCC rock sliders, and customized, degreased, and painted the flares.

It's like a tree house on wheels! Do you have a pic of the underside of the tent? I'm curious as to how you support the floor.

How do you like it up there? I've kinda looked into the duster tops and stuff but I've always been pushed away from them cuz they locate the sound bar. Outside the vehicle.

Well its kinda hard to explain without seeing it in person but the floors are a metal honeycomb with heavy duty hinges. What little support it needs is provided by the ladder.
