Last night and today I custom made a pool ball shifter for my automatic. You just push it down to shift since it doesn't have a button. I made it so it threads on and off and it's nice and solid. Probably took me three hours total to complete...

I'm happy with the results...

Now I just need to find a replacement woofer for the Jeep since the console woofer is shot. Quadratec has a direct fit replacement but they are on backorder until the end of August! Any suggestions on a replacement for this speaker? Crutchfield wants to sell speakers that will fit with an adapter bracket, but sells them in pairs. I only need 1.

I've also been thinking about the Skyjacker Rock-lock swaybar kit for the front of the Jeep. Instead of pulling pins to disco, just twist the knob & leave everything attached. Seems like a better way to go but the hardware looks more fragile than stock. Anybody use this system in their Jeep?

I've got a busy weekend coming up!
Received all of these parts I ordered. Man... that was QUICK. Thanks Quadratec!

I can't wait for tomorrow night. I don't care if the Mustang has to sit outside in the rain all day, the Jeep's gonna be in the garage gettin its groove on!

Don't really have it mounted yet? Slipped it up on the passenger side and it almost snapped into place, like it was supposed to be there.....I think I'll leave it, I can still take it out and clip it on my friends jon boat battery! ROCK!

The other day somebody just about killed me! Luckily, with my cat like reflexes I shot off the side of the road, there was a good drop off, ramped my jeep, killed a bush, missed telephone pole, tree and car in driveway.....snapped passenger side sway bar connector.....I dont hate the person, heck gave me reason to order discos, been driving with NO SWAYBAR for a few days now and I actually love it! lol

Finally got my vinyl lettering ordered and put on my Jeep.

I had refused to pay my local graphics people anywhere from $0.75 to $1.50 PER LETTER. Was able to locate a guy online who charges only $6.00 per line (up to 30"). Ended up getting 8 lines (3 on back, 2 each side, 1 on windshield). He had it cut and delivered to me in 3 days via Priority Mail. Only took me about an hour to get them on and he even provided the little squeegie thingy and instructions. I was kind of leery ordering online, but it's every bit as good as what my locals offered.

Now I'm waiting for another auto business card holder from Amazon to put on the back window.

I'm also working on changing the dash lights. Just ordered those from SuperBrightLed's. Going to go with red and get rid of the funky stock lighting.

It seems to be a trade off with the colors. I was reading another thread and someone mentioned green washes out blue. I was also considering amber, but figured I might miss a warning light.

I'm not sure how I'll like the red, but they are so cheap ($2.49/ea x 5) I can always try something else down the road.

Hopefully, I'll be satisfied with my first choice. Not a big job getting to the lights, but I only like to do things once.

It makes your jeep look like a helicopter cockpit.

Superbrightleds.com gauge cluster. Tri led's #74 wedge base. 5 for gauge cluster 3 for HVAC.

Search blue led on the tj section. It's the second thread that pops up. And the video on page 2 at the end I ordered the exact same bulbs.
Remember if they don't work take them out 180 them and put them back in.

You'll find the other thread HERE.

Shewoolf gives the bulbs you'll need to order and the links to the correct pages on SuperBrightLed's.

I'm not sure my HVAC bulbs are the same as those who have the '99 wranglers and newer that use 3 bulbs. I have a '97 that only uses 2 in the slider type HVAC unit. I ordered 2 of them anyway. If they are wrong for me I'm only out $2.50 for those smaller bulbs.
