This more so falls into the category of what my jeep did today... It destroyed a Mitsubishi diamante ! I had a guy rear end me today and didn't even break the powder coat on my rear bumper but he broke the rad/bent the support, condenser , hood, both headlights, and bumper cover on his car! I bet that'll teach him to keep his distance from jeeps!

Same thing happen to me the other year. Guy nailed me taking off from a stop sign, did aroung $800 in damage to mine and well over $5000 to his Nissan Maxima.

I ordered some pyramid 6.5" subs for the MIL's Jeep and our Jeep. They were only $8.95 each. And just under 10 clams for shipping... "what a bargain" <Eddie Murphy doing chinese person imitation>.

Waxed the beast with 'black box'. Sort of a chore but worth it.

Got the Bowless on after tightening it down and make it snug. After my drive to work, I have to give it two thumbs up "

That looks great!

I bought the black box for my UOP SHADOW & it did a great job on the 24 year old paint. I didn't really think about doing the Jeep. Maybe I'll do it this weekend and see how it turns out. It is a TON of work! A lot of steps. But if done correctly, it does a nice job of hiding the surface imperfections & faded spots!

Got the subs yesterday. WOW... that's some quick turn around. Super cheap price and incredibly fast delivery! I didn't think I'd get them in time to put them in this weekend.

My MIL is also very excited even though she didn't know she had a sub in her box. I told her that after I put the sub in, when she lsitens to Quiet Riot or Twisted Sister, it'll sound much better.

I ordered them from caraudiodeals DOT com. I'm always leary about ordering from online, especially from sites I don't know. So far, our credit card has only been charged what they said it would be charged <$30 for the 2 speakers & shipping.

I opened the boxes last night. They were 2 new in box speakers. I have not tested them to see if they will work. But based on their condition, I don't have any reason to suspect they will not.

You'll like this. I was parked in front of a Panera. Two guys at the table next to me. One points at my Jeep and says "That."
The other guy is taking papers out of his man-bag. "Yeah, but you wouldn't want to take it off-road."
I wish Man-bag had been with me just a week ago when I was grinding up that cow path 30% grade towing a utility trailer full of camping gear.

Looking at those pics, its hard to believe that paint is 24 years old. Nice job. Yep, the directions say 2-3 hours for the average sedan. That's two to three Motrin for an old guy like me.

Is that a grease zerk back there on the drag link? Will you pull the bolt to get to it?
The whole rig looks pretty beefy. Nice work.
