New spare cover. Headed to the hills this weekend to shop real estate. The kind with mud holes.

Radiator took a dump!

I was hanging out with some friends, shooting guns & rifles at Zombie targets, eating Deer burgers, and a little offroading on a mountain side. It was a great day for a birthday...

... and then going home...

I heard the usual funny noise the ac belt makes when I first start up, and pulled over to see what it was continuing on. Opened up the hood... Looks good here!
... looked under the bumper... Not good ... Radiator was pissing out of the center of the inside of the radiator... Now how in the heck did that get punctured? WHF!? And my brother never pulled over to assist and kept on going.. and going... and going!

Good thing I had plenty of bottled water left from using as targets, and made it home with no issues.

I ordered a new radiator from Autozone for $147.00 and FEDEX 2-day package for $177.00. And I got it at 12:30 est today.

If anyone is in need for a radiator for a really great price... Autozone!

pulled seats out and removed the carpet. Swept out the inside....realized just how much steel i need to patch my floorpan...

removed spare tire and carrier (not fullsize spare anyways...it's still the factory tire from 92)

actually mounted my center console so it doesn't move

Two things:
1) did you figure out who's shot ricocheted into your radiator?

2) Pay attention to how you pull & install your radiator. I've heard bad things about the radiators from Autozone. You might want to pressure test it first before installing it so if it leaks, you can exchange it without having to install & then remove it again.

Finally stopped a "click clacking" noise!

I've been hearing a random "click clack" since replacing the transmission & doing the 8.8 swap. It was the e-brake cable(dangling loose because I am still waiting on the passengers side, which is backordered). Zip tied that bad boy and I am free of any noises

checking off my to do list of getting my jeep ready for state inspection.

- rear license plate lamp
- front right parking lamp (CJ parking lamps on my TJ... blinker worked but when the blinker is not on then the parking lamp would go out)
- adjust front headlamps
- replace steering wheel clockspring

Well looks like I'll be replacing my downstream o2 sensor. I'm getting the NTK brand from rockauto for 40$ shipped to my door. Turned out not to be to expensive

I hit 54k yesterday. Today I changed the oil, rotated the tires and installed new brake shoes. The rear were totally shot as is the way with JK's. The front had quite a bit left, probably another 30 or 40k. I had it up on jack stands with all the wheels off, so I just went ahead and replaced the fronts as well.
