Yesterday: Dropped and re-installed a body bolt to explore the Ace sliders install I'll likely be doing Christmas day. Plan: Established!

Today: Installed a pair of Rugged Ridge 13305.14 grab handles on my front pillars.
That should help the wifey get in and out until the rails are installed!

Oh ok, now I understand, WHEW, I thought a vacation was time off from any and all work and a time to relax and have fun.

I painted them with krylon fusion spray the first time and they looked ok.Not perfect but ok.So I decided to shoot another light coat and once the paint started to dry, cracks appeared up makeing the doors look like alligator skin.YUCK! So I scrapped the cracks, gave them a light sanding, reshot again and end result DOUBLE YUCK! I know what I did wrong. The temp. inside the garage was very cold, the doors where not preped right.I have the week of christmas off so I will turn up the heat in the garage, sand, sand, sand and do it right the 3rd time.

Did you adjust the hinges to your jeep? If not you'll be sanding and painting after you paint again.

Went Off Road for the first time with my new Jeep, Awesome friends helped me out. Kinda threw me into the pool without knowing how to swim at first than I got the hang of it though haha. Great time!

can I do that? The striker is not lined up with the lock pin ( U bolt) and it's a pita to keep lifting up on the door to close.

Yea loosen the hinge bolts slightly and adjust the door where it needs to be. You might need to adjust the striker also (the u bolt on the body side)

I tried that but the bolts are on so freaken tight the star started to stripe. So I gave the top hing pin a few good whacks and it fixed it good as new!

I just got a new passenger door and got lucky it fit and closed without adjustment, which was a plus because I bought a door that was the same color and in perfect condition

So I've been searching around today for some new tires. I think my wife wants to get them for me for christmas. I'm looking at something more street than off road but the BFG KO and the Goodyear wrangler authority have caught my eye. Any thoughts?

Last weekend I installed the second ARB compressor. Now I can run air tools.

I also installed an oil drain valve.

That's what I think im doing to do I read many reviews on a couple different forums and the people who have actually bought and used these tires loved them, but then there were the all out wal mart haters who never had the tires and hated them

Look at some Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs, great all around tire with a beefy look. Doesn't make any road noise great on all surfaces...

Reserved my rental car for our trip, leaving Christmas morning for Newport Beach CA area, staying at Pelican Hill. While going thru this rental just wished I would have my Jeep out there with us

Put my new wheels ans tires on and went for a ride to see how she rode it was a smooth ride. They did a great job balancing then no shimmy anymore around 55-65. The tires didn't stick out as far as I expected them too either
