Mine hadn't got that bad but I was starting to see oil on the back of the oil pan when I changed the oil last. So I figured it was time

Unfortunately I didn't have time to do it myself between work and school and the jeep being my DD, so i just took it to the local jeep shop. Should be about an hour of labor if that helps.

Edit: also check the PCV valve to see if that is clogged as well.

I like them so far. They weren't too hard to put on, they mount to two body mount bolts and then through bolts on the rocker itself. Probably took me about 2 hrs to install them.

I actually bought them to cover body damage from a t-bone my wife got into.(cheaper than fixing the damage and repainting) So they are mainly cosmetic on my rig .... so I can't comment on how well they would hold up to a hit from rocks

Installed Brown Dog motor mount lift lastnight, finished buttoning things up this morning. Took me about 2 hrs total, I had to remove my alternator to get the passenger side on.
On the instructions it says nor to tighten the through bolt down tight, they mean it! I had to back the nut off a quarter turn I had crazy vibes at 2k rpms

Thanks.
The supplied hooks stink. They have small bungee cords with hooks that pop off.
I used black electrical Zip ties instead.

I ordered from Quadratec and was to get the rear door for free. They send the wrong model year version. I didn't look at the directions until after I had it in. I had to install a few extra grommets and I used my own self tapping screws.

The other day I ordered the rear seat cover. They didn't have one listed for the 2011, but I can make the older one work fine.
It arrived yesterday.
It was wrong. They sent me a front seat cover.
I called this morning an the warehouse in PA is out of them so the replacement is coming from the west coast. Should be here Monday or Tuesday.

I'll post what I had to do to make it work.

Stupid crap that dont make sense

I am experiencing a problem that I cannot solve and no one Ive talked to knows the answer. In my rear axle, I have replaced all gears including spider and side gears. I replaced the front seal and yoke. My problem is that the seal keeps blowing out. I have made sure the vent tube is not clogged. We even put a different drive shaft on. Why does the pinion seal keep going out? Would a SYE stop it? And if I get a SYE then would I also need a different drive shaft?
