Why does the pinion seal keep going out? Would a SYE stop it? And if I get a SYE then would I also need a different drive shaft?
I was about to say check the breather tubes because that's what happened to mine. But since you already checked those, I have no idea...

I took it for a much needed carwash, removed the hood spring for the notorious "hood flutter," and I removed that ugly air dam. In fact, I didn't even see the air dam until someone pointed it out, then I couldn't stop seeing it - so it came off

Installed a new Back-up light and ran the wiring to the dash.
Now I have 2 toggle switches, one for the front lights and the lower one for the rear.
Came off the battery for them so I could use the lights even if I'm broke down.
Of course I could always blast people who tail gate.. :-)

I moved my junk out of the garage to work on the JK.

Moved the JK in and changed the oil. New air filter and new plugs. Got new tires last Tuesday.

Also installed some new stickers.

This morning I crawled underneath and un-bolted those hideous stock chrome nurf bars in hope that my new ACE sliders would be here today (no such luck). Then I took my 8 year old son to the beach. Great day for my son and I and the JK enjoyed wheelin in the loose sand!

Oh bad ass is an understatement. Haha. I like them! Just love my km2's. But for noise level it doesn't get much lower than km2's. I had Mtr's before these and it sounded like a helicopter at speed.

Sub frame. That is the beginning of the tube work that holds all of my suspension in check.

Today I started building a welding cart for my new Hobart Handler 210.

Got them mounted! They arent really that loud. Sound like my KM2's right after a rotation. I have to take them to a commercial truck tire shop tomorrow to get them balanced though. No regular tire stores could do 37's.

Dropped of the TJ at the Speed Shop to upgrade the rear brakes to disc and fix/adjust my control arms. Can't wait to check out the new brakes and actually stop without locking up

Changed the front and rear Diff fluid along with the transfer case oil this weekend, preparing for Moab! Leaving Friday.

Also, today papa got a new pair of shoes! Kumho KL71's. We'll see how they do on the rocks of Moab.

Cheers

got my Fogs all wired and working and finally got the doors off(First time off in 10-11 years) Were they stuck had ta use a floor jack and raised the jeep three inches till they loosened and a couple of whacks with the rubber mallet..(Yes I had a hold on them)..Wire brushed the junk off and lathered the pins with white grease . Now they slip in and off like KY jelly. LOL
