Today I installed; Kidde fire extinguisher, 12" Stubby Antenna, replaced both parking lamps with a new set, ordered a replacement set of ORO LED Lite DOTS, ordered a set of 5100 Bilstein shocks, and painted my "trail rated" badges with plasti dip.

Thumbs up Rear Disc Brake Kit

Installed the Teraflex Rear Disc Brake Kit, well, my trusted Mechanic installed it. And a good thing too, the instructions were not too clear and were pre-copied from a pre-copy and zeroxed to death, so the instructions were grainy and the photos were too dark and unviewable ← is that a real word!?
Anyway, it handles great and there is a definate smooth action feel in stopping. The e-brake is not too bad, kinda heavy and takes most of the level extension to engage fully. Probably because of the drum brake system is so small. But it holds the vehicle pretty good (as of for now).

Installed heavy duty tie rod, tie rod ends, and track bar. Also popped a new steering stabilizer on. Next up is sway bar, bushings, and quick discos.

I stuffed the sound bar with poly-fil

I hope the kids don't miss their stuffed animal

Also a couple weeks ago I got tired of my washer fluid spewing out of the nozzles on the hood (after a cold night and then the sun warms the hood up) so i drilled a small hole in the cap of the washer fluid bottle

Did a 5 tire rotation

I am going to have to recheck my lugs more often, I wasn't happy with how easy some of them broke loose.... I didn't have any loose wheels but, I'm going glad I checked them when I did

Pulled the backseat out and threw in my old storage box from the YJ days. Fits pretty well. Going to have to come up with a method to secure it since it is not sized for a TJ and I no longer have the side boxes it use to lock into.

Yea so after rotating my tires this morning I had to put my them back on the axle where they came from, I got a shimmy/vibration that even re-balancing didn't get rid of

Actually I've never been able to rotate the tires on it without getting a vibration/shimmy

Sounds like you got some bad uneven wear. I suggest chalk test, air down, and alignment.

No they are even all across the tread and the alignment was my next thought, but I measured it and it was 1/8" toe in.
On another thread someone said it should go away after about week of driving

Is that the training center in Forsyth? We had to do that when I took accident reconstruction there.

I got my replacement brown dog motor mounts in. I originally bought the polyurethane and they were to rigid so I trade them for the ultra-flex rubber.

I'll hopefully get them installed this week, I'm going to replace the transmission mount also

What is the reason for the need of upgraded motor mounts. Can u really hit that hard to bust the stock ones?
