I bought an Engo 10k winch with synthetic line. I really hope it's a decent winch.

Changed my shocks and steering stabilizer today.
I figured it was about time, they were original with 230k on them...

Front...

Back... I got lucky and all the upper bolts came without any problems

Steering stabilizer...

I didn't buy expensive shocks because in the next year, year and a half I plan to put a 2.5-3'' lift with Bilstein 5100's

I didn't know a Jeep could ride like a Cadillac....

I didn't realize how bad my old shocks were until I replaced them and took it for a ride today. Wow what a difference!

Luckily a Jeep doesn't ride like a Cadillac. As far as I am concerned there's no way a cadi can ride that good

I just put in my 3rd replacement set of these KC H4 headlights. Supposedly this set is from a new batch... if these fade you'll see a picture of me running them over in my driveway!

I just didn't expect the ride to improve as much as it did

Heard some obnoxious clicking on the road yesterday, thought it was just a rock. Then noticed this rather wicked looking foreign object in my tire this morning.

It's the size of a quarter.

How about now?

It was just a roofing nail or some sort of screw. I'm not tool-savy so I don't know what it is exactly, so it's foreign to me

I'm headed to work tomorrow. So I guess I'm going to put her clothes back on her. I'll be gone at least a month so I'll seal her up.

How did you get to the switches? I put lights on the front but I don't know how to get like you did and put a switch in it. If that makes any sense.

I ran the wiring from the engine bay through one of the rubber grommets above the clutch to get into the cab. Once in the cab I took off the main dash panel (surrounding the headunit, AC controls, etc, its one piece) by prying up on the panel that runs along the top of the dash by the windshield, unscrewing two screws in the middle, then pulling out the whole center dash piece. Then, I unscrewed the two screws holding the dash piece around the steering wheel and pulled that out. Then I took out the screws holding the switch panel in and then the ones holding the AC controls and let those hang. From there its pretty easy to fish the wires where they need to go by sticking your hand behind where the switch goes and feeding it from where the steering wheel dash panel was. Snap the switch into place, plug the harness in, zip tie all of the wiring nicely, then put it all back together. Its not as bad as it sounds really.
