Thanks I need some parts for my underside, or I need to do corrosion work , being a former AD of course I do corrosion work all the time but I found one place that has pitting so rather than make more parts I think I'll order some from them, may cost a little more, but it WILL be faster. And I'm pretty sure that my little 70 amp will weld them in good enough for anything with a couple of passes

Pulled off the 90's-esque side decal and bedlined the door handles. Contemplating bedlining the fender flares. Thoughts?

It was a few days ago, but I finally ditched the stock steelies and tires. I put on new rims and new BFG A/T's. I feel better better now.

Here's my frame repair with SafeTcap repair pieces
The Drivers frame rail

Plasma cutting the bottom 1'' of rust off

The rust inside the frame

Test fit, had to do some light trimming to get it in the correct position

Burning it in
Cleaning up the welds before paint

Painted and ready to hit the trails!

All in all It was an easy install, the driver side fit better than the passenger (no extra trimming). We did trim the inside of the driver rail down to reuse the factory holes for the fuel and brake line clips.

Built aluminum rock sliders. Attached an old grab rail to get a look. It will come off when I weld up a full length aluminum tube.

I wanted to try and preserve my new frsme rails as much as possible so I bought some 1 3/8" round hole covers for the holes on the outside of the frame to keep the dirt and water out.

Last night I was going to take the jeep to get the codes read, my wife is said that it has been on for the past few days. I get in start backing out of the driveway and there's no check engine light, I think I'm going to buy 1 of the Bluetooth readers and the Tourqe app to be able to read codes myself...
