Put the doors and windows back on Doesn't Mother Nature understand that is is June (almost July) and it isn't supposed to rain in Texas? Had to ride home with a wet hiney last night!

(sorry guys, cant post just pics at work...)

receiver:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-jy6cqJy...0&I=130DEHP390

dash speakers:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-jy6cqJy...arch=polk+momo

overhead soundpod speakers:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-jy6cqJy...isplay=Eclipse

tweeters:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-jy6cqJy...splay=Infinity

oh and amp (not too much power, but hits the rms for my speakers perfectly IMO):
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-jy6cqJy...chDisplay=Sony

and thats all for now, but i plan on getting a bazooka tube, such as this one, or maybe the next one up (8" woofer):
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-jy6cqJy...isplay=Bazooka

what do you guys think?
the head unit is not bad, and same with dash speakers, but the eclipse speakers are crap. for the roll bar you should just get a component speaker system like this http://www.crutchfield.com/S-QIkhM9h...10&I=107DB5250

that way your speakers and tweeters work together nice

the bazooka subs are nice and fit great in a jeep.

the amp is crap along with all of the other car audio products that sony makes, yes they look good on paper and so does a communist government.

what you should try to do is find all of your stuff on ebay and you will save a good amount of cash.

of the top of my head kicker makes good amps, rockford frosgate makes good stuff too, kenwood is also good. Go to your local store and search around.. what i usually do is just search for reviews on items that catch my mind

what did u do in illinois?
we coated the roof of a school's bus building..
its like a rubber that gets spray painted on..
we were in a place called albion..

we are also goin to marion illinois to patch a rubber roof..

and my xplod headunit sounds better than my pioneer headunit..

i like the eq settings on this one alot more than my old one.. especially since i put xplod speakers in my jeep.. the xplod setting sounds GREAT

i also had a problem with my old headunit.. the faceplate didnt connect well and the lights didnt always work..

only reason i went with the sony head unit was bc it was the best one i could find in town.. and it has an ipod hookup, a usb port, and a aux port.. and it only ran my 180....

the cool thing about it is that when the ipod is hooked up.. the only way to control it is on the headunit and with the control.. u can also set whether you want to browse playlist, artist, album, ect like you can on the ipod..

for a good head unit go with alpine kenwood or clarion.

for a sub i recommend mtx, audiobahn, and memphis.

for an amp you should go with a matching comany.

and as for speakers i would go with infinity, polk, or alpine

Destroyed my rear u-joint, bought a new one, In the process of replacing it I strip my teraflex U-bolts and bought some new ones...... Couple of hours of frustration and swearing, but it runs smoother than ever.

lets see first off i worked 35 hrs this week, alhtough work is wicked fun (camp counselor, this week was training and counselor bonding, and apparantly the older counselors are taking bets on wether or not i will hook up with this other counselor, but anyways it is fun.... and thats more JEEP MONEY, you can see my priorities are in line :-) )

and for the CJ i put in the new oil line so there is no more oil leak, i installed the tach, i installed the steering stabilizer, and new rear shocks (boy did they need them, i could compress then and decompress them by hand pretty effortlessly)

and i got wireless DSL up here at my cabin so i will actually be able to be on the forum in my free time!!

They look good, the rims look bigger in the pic of just the rim and the tires look huge in the pic with the wheel and tire together.
