3.75 is the "optimum" spacing on TJ's as the wheels wont stick out really far, and you can run a tire up to 13-14" wide.
3.75? and the wheels won't stick out very far?

I thought that was the whole point? Get them out there. You're the first I've heard who suggests a larger backspacing. I say with the readily available 15" wheels get the 3.25. An extra inch never hurt anybody

I told you already I was gonna run 33x12.5 so thats not too extreme. I had just heard talk about backspacing issues, and some rims I found had 4.5 backspace. You said 3.75 so I'm sure thats the right number, I am just not sure what the difference was is all.

also the taler the tires the more they have to stick out otherwise they will rub when turning.

I personally like the tires sticking out more and also they give the jeep better stability so..

So is AzTJ right by saying 3.75 is ideal?

Eh... typo was never good in math

3.75 is the least amount of backspacing I'd go with on an after market rim for a TJ. 3.25 is what I meant to say

I dunno dude. That 2 and 7 are a long ways away.

3.25BS never hurt anybody. I run 3.25 on my wifes junk with 35.13.50's and no rubbing. I'm even running 3.5 on my rig but that's a different story.

That would be a lot for 33s though... Where do you find rims with that amount of BS anyways? The least i've seen are the ones posted on a another page of 3.44 and the steelies of 3.75... I've never seen any 3.25 or any one talking about them but Mr C that had something of that number and needed spacers or something of that sort otherwise his stock 30s would rub with the ~8"? of lift he had and the stretched wheel base...

I wired the tail lights for towing and finally bought the hitch. I towed my boat with the Jeep for the first time. It handled better than I expected but I couldn't go over 45mph with the 4 banger and 32's. Lesson learned...take back roads when I have something in tow.

Step gaurds for the doorway, euro tail light kit, pair of SS tube bumpers, Neo seat covers, chrome inserts for the grill holes, and a 4 inch RC lift. Just trying to lose the stock TJ look. It starts out small, but ya know how addicting it can get.

Too late, you're not allowed to slow down. People will start PMing you when you slack off.

i my self made a cardomain acount and just post pics there and then just send links to those pics. I also have a photobucket acount which i upload random pics to and again link them here. If you want to make something like your "own webpage" then go with cardomain. If you want a place where you can just upload whatever pics you want then create a photobucket account.

I dont know if you're familiar with car domain but you can check mine out as an example.. (click on the link under my writing.)

Photo bucket is like a folder where you just upload pictures so you can see them from any computer. Its not really organized like a website and that's why i post whatever images i need online and they dont have to be of cars only... website is www.Photobucket.com

Another way to post an image is you can also use the forums space but that is harder to do so since you gotta shrink images which looses quality like that so it just gets complicated and also uses the forums bandwith.

I would recomend the photobucket way since cardomain gets "old" when you gotta update it while the forum space is limited. Using photobucket is the easiest for me. When you create an account and upload an image there will be 4 things under each image. The first box says share url.. next one says url link next one says html tag and the last one is IMG CODE. The IMG CODE is what you need.. just double click on it it should flash "copied" or it should say coppied to clip board or whatever.. Then next what you do is right click here in the forum when posting images and click on "paste" then something like this should come up (with the brackets and all that just no spaces)

[ I M G ] h t t p : / / i 2 0 5 . p h o t o b u c k e t . c o m /albums/bb210/Triple88A/fat_traction.jpg [ / I M G ]

thats it man when you submit your post it will automatically change to a pic.

I think I've been driving in the dark my whole life with those old sealed beam headlights!

I installed my Projector head lights with regular auto parts store special h4 bulbs so much brighter, I'm very impress with my ebay bought headlights....

Can't wait to drive at night when I get my H.I.D.'s
