The lower the number on the backspacing the farther the wheel will stick out from the vehicle. 4.5" backspacing isn't bad, but if your gonna run a tire thats wider than 11" you'll have rubbing issues on the control arms or springs.
3.75 is the "optimum" spacing on TJ's as the wheels wont stick out really far, and you can run a tire up to 13-14" wide.
3.75? and the wheels won't stick out very far?
I thought that was the whole point? Get them out there. You're the first I've heard who suggests a larger backspacing. I say with the readily available 15" wheels get the 3.25. An extra inch never hurt anybody
I told you already I was gonna run 33x12.5 so thats not too extreme. I had just heard talk about backspacing issues, and some rims I found had 4.5 backspace. You said 3.75 so I'm sure thats the right number, I am just not sure what the difference was is all.
Eh i'm going to sleep since i gotta wake up and go to work in 6hrs .. mr c i wanna see some action movies of that rig other than the photoshoped image with the corvette sound clip on the previous page good night all

Eh... typo was never good in math
3.75 is the least amount of backspacing I'd go with on an after market rim for a TJ. 3.25 is what I meant to say
That would be a lot for 33s though... Where do you find rims with that amount of BS anyways? The least i've seen are the ones posted on a another page of 3.44 and the steelies of 3.75... I've never seen any 3.25 or any one talking about them but Mr C that had something of that number and needed spacers or something of that sort otherwise his stock 30s would rub with the ~8"? of lift he had and the stretched wheel base...
I've got what they call "stupid hands" Always typing something different from what I'm thinking.
Me too man they type on their own wtf One time i'm typing something for school and got the tv on.. i'm reading it from my roughdraft and am typing what they are saying on tv without even realizing it.. true story btw..
I wired the tail lights for towing and finally bought the hitch. I towed my boat with the Jeep for the first time. It handled better than I expected but I couldn't go over 45mph with the 4 banger and 32's. Lesson learned...take back roads when I have something in tow.

Step gaurds for the doorway, euro tail light kit, pair of SS tube bumpers, Neo seat covers, chrome inserts for the grill holes, and a 4 inch RC lift. Just trying to lose the stock TJ look. It starts out small, but ya know how addicting it can get.
i my self made a cardomain acount and just post pics there and then just send links to those pics. I also have a photobucket acount which i upload random pics to and again link them here. If you want to make something like your "own webpage" then go with cardomain. If you want a place where you can just upload whatever pics you want then create a photobucket account.
I dont know if you're familiar with car domain but you can check mine out as an example.. (click on the link under my writing.)
Photo bucket is like a folder where you just upload pictures so you can see them from any computer. Its not really organized like a website and that's why i post whatever images i need online and they dont have to be of cars only... website is www.Photobucket.com
Another way to post an image is you can also use the forums space but that is harder to do so since you gotta shrink images which looses quality like that so it just gets complicated and also uses the forums bandwith.
I would recomend the photobucket way since cardomain gets "old" when you gotta update it while the forum space is limited. Using photobucket is the easiest for me. When you create an account and upload an image there will be 4 things under each image. The first box says share url.. next one says url link next one says html tag and the last one is IMG CODE. The IMG CODE is what you need.. just double click on it it should flash "copied" or it should say coppied to clip board or whatever.. Then next what you do is right click here in the forum when posting images and click on "paste" then something like this should come up (with the brackets and all that just no spaces)
