Yeah I'll have to wait a month or so to get my tube chassis, 42's and my ProRock 60's. Oh well...

New K&N filter ? Didn't you read all the negative stuff in the TJ thread about 'em ?

I don't have a TJ motor.

I know all the adverse side affects of running a K&N. But a big chevy V8 has to breathe some how. I'm normally the one preaching that a K&N is pointless on a jeep motor. I don't have many other options with my setup.

Oh yeah, it's cold in Kansas this time of year. Been so long since I lived there, I'd forgotten. Poor Mr.C.

Skeeter and I washed my jeep today, in 21 degree weather. It looks all shiny again.
My jeep girl antenna ball didn't come clean though.

It wasn't exactly today, but this week I added a hitch, a new antenna mount and the sway bar quick disconnects

It was a good week

Mounted up my Co2 tank finally and dropped the Viking top to see how well it works. So far so good after I tightened down a few straps.

Man, you are living in the wrong place for the rig you are building. You need to live somewhere there is some good weather and some actual wheelin.

had to get shorter shocks for the jeep since I put on the nth degree shock shifter on and modifided the lower shock mount and raised it about 2in. higher. I still get the same amount of flex. I also found some royal purple so I changed the oil to.
I havent seen royal purple since I left denver.
now it seems to be making it to the stores in vegas

Tell me about it. Good thing I have a heated shop to work in or this stupid thing would never get buttoned up. The weather changes so much. Before this last stretch of crappy weather it was 65+ then BOOM! 13! Makes me sick which really kills motivation.

I know what you mean boss. Spent my first 24 years on Kansas City growing up. The last 6 that I've lived in AZ have been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

If you did not coat them with armor all you would not rip up tires as quick. I know they look better while at the mall but they suck on the trail

Well they are too easy for just a regular tire so I add the armor all to give me a challenge.

I didn't do anything for mine today, but, I put a 2" budget boost OME shocks, JKS discos and some black nerfs on a friends today, and made some cash doin it. Nothing better than doing what you love and then someone paying you to do it.

I took er wheeling and bumped the front fender into a tree! I also flaked off some of the paint on my only front flare

Here's a group shot from almost all the jeeps that went today.

Talking front LCA skids.. dial-up ? HA HAA have fun

Its nice to have a 5 ton overhead crane available for use...

I noticed my lower arm mounts were taking a beating fron creek crossings..
so I went to the shop this morning and had a look see about fixin the problem

cut some 3/16" plate on the bandsaw..

yep, that ought to work..

welded them on...

and the other side..

and a shot of pizz can black..

that should help on the unseen rocks in the creeks
