I dont know, I hauled a$$ away before he could get me

I work there and both of my bosses were fine with me doing that, and the little bit that I did spread doesnt matter b/c I had to move a couple yards of it anyways so I "cleaned" up the pile a bit at the same time

Today i celebrated with my jeep. For three reasons it no longer sounds like my trans is comin through the floor(trans mount) It no longer vibrates at 45-50 mph(transfer case drop) and For the best reason My girlfriend who not even kidding said i hate this jeep a month ago asked me today and qoute"Can we go offroading this weekend, But this time i wanna get real muddy...ill even help you clean her." Not only does she want to go she is gonna help clean and she called my jeep a her not an it or pos.COOL

New NV3550 tranny and new clutch kit Makes me sick to spend the cash on that instead of mods; damnit! But, bright side is I got a new tranny and clutch!

Oooh, I'm jealous! Those old scramblers are cool, there just aren't any that aren't made outta swiss cheese here in the Midwest! Let's see some pictures!

BTW, I'm going to a meet & greet this weekend at a "local" (50 miles from home) distributor for old Jeep parts. Mostly Full Size stuff, but an old Waggy might be just the ticket for totin the TJ to the Dunes next time around. Anybody looking for anything specific, I can ask around?

Talking

i just sledged it on and got my shackles painted. it makes alot more sense how the winch plate works, and how it attaches now that i can hold it. i dont know if i want to spray paint it or get it powder coated yet. i mean if i get it PCed...i had to really sledge this thing on bare... maybe i can tell them to just tape over the inside mounting locations? i think it would look alot better PCed as opposed to sprayed...and thats what is all about, looks, right scout? i think ill wait to put up pictures until its done....but im probly lying and will have some up by tomorrow evening. btw, i was supposed to get my tracking # from them today so when i got home and it was on my step i almost "shat" myself.

Ha!

Fuction first - looks second. Powder coat it. You'll be happier in the long run. Besides if you scratch or chip the powder coat you could touch it up later. It wouldn't look perfect but it wouldn't look bad either.

Just paint it, if you scratch it, easier fix.

And crappier finish. You can still touch up the powder coat.

My cage is spray painted and everything else is powder coated. If I ever get the energy to pull that damn cage back out I'll have it powder coated.

whine whine whine - its a winch plate. Not like its gonna get beat with rocks or see abuse that would need powder coating. Painting with a rattle can will be easy and fast and cheap. And if you scratch it you can paint it again and not look like it was "touched up".

I painted my front bumper. Easier to fix, but I'm going to get it powder coated when I get the tube fenders. I'll do it all at the same time.
