Fixed the leak in the front differential cover seal, and remembered why I hate gear oil and differential covers! That stuff reeks!!!! Finally got my semi-annual oil change for free 'cause my wife had enough oil changes on her punch card, and her company pays for hers!

Sad part was that I first thought some butthead stole my mirror. Was still early and hadn't had my coffee yet.

Bro, if you changed it more than ever 5 years it wouldn't stink so bad.

Clouds and some rain in scarce parts of the valley. But nothing of any consequence and none at my house.

My dad used to go out in the rain to wash his cars. Said the rainwater didn't leave water spots so it did the best rinse job. Still can't bring myself to do it, just doesn't seem worth it to get all wet and cold.

I am not sure if this if for my Jeep or for me. I bought and installed a new truck camper on my tow rig. I am ready to enjoy the easy camping style

That's perfect. A place to sleep and a way to still tow your rig to the trail. I'd say both you and the YJ benefit from that.

I'm jealous Hack. That is a pretty nice setup. My dream setup would be something similar to the trailer build on extreme 4x4. Where they stuffed that really cool camper on the trailer with a generator. I just hate the packing the day before and after.

I watched tha episode again the other day. I saved it to my DVR. That setup was actually perfect assuming money wouldn't be an issue. From the looks of it though it could be doable with a small popup camper.

What I wanted to do Clifford is a gooseneck trailer like yours and put a camper overhanging the gooseneck and the Jeep on the trailer behind it. But I have no place to park a longer trailer like that. Thanks for the comments this will be great to come back to after a long day on the trail.

But then I wouldn't have anything to complain about!!!

Hackle, nice setup, would be great for those "camping" trips when wheeling!

I got under the TJ this weekend and did a bunch of armor and frame cleaning and touchup to get rid of rust from trail scratches.

I actually drove mine around the yard a little bit. The first time I have driven it in a while. Needed to get the juices flowing in everything again. It is still a ways away from being street legal. I have a little hill in my yard that makes a nice little jump. I've never jumped it before and was quite pleased how it soaked up the landing. I probably didn't get more than a couple inches off the ground, but it is still off the ground. Then I got stuck in the ditch/sewer. Not my brightest moment.

Damn I am glad my wife doesn't frequent the forum. Still have her believing that we can camp comfortably out of the YJ with an expedition rack. We almost can..........Nice tow rig.
