Its gonna use too much gas. But you already knew that.

Eco nazis are going to whine and moan about it.

Just make sure it's complies with all state laws like fender coverage. It will suck down gas. And you will always have some jealous prick no matter what you drive.

Seriously? If you have to ask then perhaps you might want to consider a Corolla or a Focus or something a little more "socially" friendly.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm truly not, I honestly believe that everyone has a moral responsibility to save as much fuel as they can (Jeeps use a lot and I don't ever want to run out).

i wonder how much of a gas guzzler is it comparing to stock wrangler( which goes around 15-19 mpg). I've seen mods getting it down to 10, can it be lower than that?

Wow 8mpg? That's pretty sick looking in the fuel tank, though.

Yeah, sure it won't be easy on gas and tire. I was afraid if it's gonna do something to the brake/ clutch/ axle more than normal. I was afraid people's gonna think I'm a retard.. Lol

What constitutes your rig as a rock crawler...not meaning that in a bad way, just curious

There are plenty of us that drive around lifted on 35's and 37's with other trail mods...i wouldnt think you'd have any problems with it since its street legal.

Yes, it will wear other components too. CV's U's etc. That's part of the trade.

BTW... its been my experience in life that no matter what you do in life, somebody, somewhere is gonna think your a retard. Just do what you want, and can afford.

That is a good question too. Big difference between lift and 35's and a rock crawler. I got a buddy who really does have a street legal crawler, but there is barely anything left on it made by jeep.

Agreed...
A friends rig here in Denver hardly looks like a jeep any more even though thats how it started out.

Personally, i think if thats your rig in your avatar, i wouldnt qualify that as a rock crawler so i think you'll be more than fine to DD it.

Definitely tire wear. Off road tires don't get as many miles and are pretty expensive.

I'm wondering why, if you have the mechanical ability and know how to have a "rockcrawler" (I am going to assume you didn't build it) why would you have to ask this question? There is a difference between a "rockcrawler" and a modified jeep. Lots of definitions of course from plasti dipped headlight rings to 35" tires with 4" lift and flat fenders. Just have fun with it and don't worry what others might think. The part that worries me is, if you have to ask what kind of problems you will have with your setup, you might want to start learning some basic mechanical skills and learn what you have.
