What Is The Weirdest Thing You Strapped To Your Jeep?

jeeps are notorious for having no cargo room, but sometimes you need to get something just a little too big from .A to .B. what hve you strapped to the roof, rollbars, or out the sides. pics are welcomed and encouraged.

i once needed to deliver a 20' extension ladder (10' not extended) and drive it about 30 miles. i strapped it to the roll bars and strapped it securely down w/ ratchet straps. i also needed to pick up some 10' wire shelving from lowes once and did the same thing.

i had a disassembled 14' trampoline in mine

on another occasion i crammed a washing machine in the back (folded the back seat forward and crammed it in there. the guy at lowes wouldnt even try to help me load it when he saw me pull the jeep up LOL.

about 1500lbs of corn

a deer blind

using the term "strapped to" loosely, about 300' of 5 strand barbed wire fence (tractor and bobcat both got stuck so i had to use the jeep to tear down the old fence)

cedar posts (fence posts) when i was building the new fence

thats all i can think of for now

I bought a bunch of trees at Lowes for landscaping my yard. It looked pretty retarded.

Well it wasnt strapped to my jeep but when I bought my 33 gal vertical craftsman air compressor I had to get it home so I took off the front portion of my 2 piece hard top and sat the compressor on my passenger front seat in the box. It sat at least 2 feet above the roof line. It was pretty entertaining getting stuck in rush hour traffic that way.

took 4 twelve foot 4x6 posts about 2 hours down I95. Wedged behind front seats into foot well and out back window on each side of spare tire. Running the softtop and it was raining so I had to put them inside instead on top.

I had a giant stuffed dragon I won at a fair for shooting out the red star. Wouldn't fit in the jeep so I seat belted it in the back seat. I had to put the top down to get it to fit and it looked like it was chewing on the center bar for the roll cage. Pictures later.

By plumbers motto: "Hots on left, colds on right, shit flows downhill, payday's on Thursday and the foreman's an a**hole." Thats all you need to know.

I folded the back seat down and loaded patio block up to the top of the body, plus 25 2x4's on the rollbars. Looked like a lowrider

Yeah, every time I see the thread title I automatically expect to see a bunch of kinky responses. The maturity of this group is both amazing and disappointing at the same time.

Nope. He was strapped to the roll bar, but I figure best not to have evidence of that.

I had a home made sled thats built on a huge dolly that has lights, and music playing from it. It also carries santa and his helper around the town on christmas. All that strapped to the back bumper.
I'll have to get pictures this year.

6" X 10' planks.

Not terribly original...or even strapped down... but I did manage to take out my mail box!
